本発明は建築材や家具材として用いられる凹凸
模様を有する化粧板の製造方法に関し、特にシー
ラー塗装し、サンデイングを施したと同様の平滑
な面を有し、かつ少なくとも木口面4面が補強さ
れた凹凸模様を有する化粧板の製造方法に関す

を化粧板を製造しうることを見出した。しかしな
がら、こうして得られた化粧板を運送したり取り
扱う際、不注意等で端部が欠けやすい欠点があつ
た。

けるか、あるいは金属化合物またはケイ素化合物
からなるウイスカーを混入した塗料を塗布し、該
樹脂剤あるいは塗料が未硬化の状態で該木材チツ
プを投入し熱圧成形することにより化粧板の端部
を補強するものである。

実施例 1
第1図に従つて説明すると、金型1,2の表面
にポリエステル樹脂(商品名:レーベルゲルコー
ト、大日本塗料)、クラツク防止剤(日本油脂)、
BPOベースト(2〜5%)を混合した塗料3を
100〜700Kg/m2で塗布し、さらに上記塗料を含浸
させたガラスクロス(ガラスマツト)4を数枚金
型の化粧板の木口面に当接する部分に積層した。
この塗料が硬化する前に尿素樹脂、フエノール樹
脂又はメラミン樹脂接着剤をコーテイングした木
材チツプ5を投入し、120〜150℃で熱プレス(製
品厚10mmで5〜6分プレス)した。プレス後取り
出し、シーラー塗装しサンデイングを施したと同
様の平滑な面を有する凹凸模様の化粧板6を得
た。これをバリ取り加工後、ウレタンエナメル系
塗料で全塗装し美麗な面をした化粧板を得た。

エステル系塗料を塗装後、木口面にガラスストラ
ンドチヨツプを混入したポリエステル塗料を吹き
付け(塗布量500〜1000g/m2)、塗料が未硬化の
状態で接着剤(尿素、メラミン又は、フエノー
ル)をコーテイングした木材チツプを投入後120
〜150℃で熱プレス後これを取り出し、シーラー
塗装しサンデイングを施したと同様の平滑な面を
有する凹凸模様化粧板を得た。ウレタンエナメル

後、この塗料が硬化する前に、接着剤をコーテイ
ングした木材チツプを所定量投入し、熱圧成形す
ることから成る凹凸模様を有する化粧板の製造方
法において、木材チツプ投入に先立つて、金型の
少なくとも前記化粧板の木口面に当接する部分
に、樹脂含浸ガラスクロスを積層するとともに、
該樹脂剤が未硬化の状態で該木材チツプを所定量
投入し、熱圧成形を行うことを特徴とする端部が
補強された凹凸模様を有する化粧板の製造方法。 2 適宜形状の金型表面に転写用塗料を塗布した
後、この塗料が硬化する前に、接着剤をコーテイ
ングした木材チツプを所定量投入し、熱圧成形す
ることから成る凹凸模様を有する化粧板の製造方
法において、木材チツプ投入に先立つて、金型の
少なくとも前記化粧板の木口面に当接する部分
に、ガラスチヨツプを混入した樹脂を吹き付ける
とともに、該樹脂剤が未硬化の状態で該木材チツ
プを所定量投入し、熱圧成形を行うことを特徴と
する端部が補強された凹凸模様を有する化粧板の
製造方法。 3 適宜形状の金型表面に転写用塗料を塗布した
後、この塗料が硬化する前に、接着剤をコーテイ
ングした木材チツプを所定量投入し、熱圧成形す
ることから成る凹凸模様を有する化粧板の製造方
法において、木材チツプ投入に先立つて、金型の
少なくとも前記化粧板の木口面に当接する部分
に、金属化合物またはケイ素化合物からなるウイ
スカーを混入した塗料を塗布するか又は、金型に
