熱収縮性材料を用いることが提案されており、こ
の熱収縮性材料は一線に重ねたコインの円柱群を
包絡するものである。この際熱収縮性材料はコイ
ンの円柱群の全長に亙つて加熱されて円柱群の周
面に緊係合する。このようにして得られた包装に
あつては、熱収縮性材料がコインの円柱群の端部
において破れ易く、加えて、例えば包装を作つた
銀行などの金融期間などを表示するための印刷を
充分には施し難いのである。なぜならば熱収縮性
材料の収縮によつて印刷が歪んでしまうからであ
る。また得られた包装は硬くて柔軟性に乏しく、
開き難いという欠点がある。

柱群端部に収縮させるような包装に用いるプラス
チツク材料のフイルムを提供するもので、フイル
ム帯の端部の方が中間部よりも吸熱性が大で、加
熱されたときに端部において中間部よりも迅速に
熱を吸収して収縮するものである。

め包装は中央から開き易く、しかもフイルム帯は
円柱群に収縮してないから、この穿孔線に沿つて
包装を両断すれば中のコインは簡単に出てくる。

その中間部18よりも吸熱性が大に形成されてい
る。即ち吸熱性材料をこの端部17に埋込むか塗
布するのである。このような吸熱性材料としては
金属もしくは酸化金属顔料を含んだものを用いる
ことができる。これに加えて、あるいはこれに代
えて、暗色などを施してこの端部17を不透明に
してもよい。中間部18には所望の情報を与える
印刷を施してもよい。端部17の幅は、フイルム
帯を円柱群の中央に合わせて後者の端部を覆つた
ときにこれからはみ出すように、調節する。端部
17が中間部18よりより吸熱性であるため、端
部を加熱すると端部がより迅速に加熱され、中間
部18がほとんど加熱の影響を受けないのに、端
部で迅速な収縮が起きる。そして第3図に示すよ
うに端部17は円柱群の端部上に3〜5mm程折り
曲がる。この状態になつたら熱放射をすぐ止めて
中間部18に影響が及ばないようにする。
