(Prior art) When filling mortar into a small annular gap formed between the outer periphery of the porcelain and the inner periphery of the metal fitting in order to fix the metal fitting to the end of the porcelain pipe, etc., a funnel with a pointed lower end is used. Mortar is placed inside a shaped filling container, its lower end is inserted into the annular booth, and a spatula is inserted into the center hole of the filling container to manually move it up and down.
The method used was to push mortar into small gaps. However, this method of filling mortar has low efficiency because it is done manually, the filled mortar tends to have cavities and air bubbles, the surface of the mortar needs to be finished after filling, and the mortar that has been pushed in with a spatula has problems. There were many problems such as protruding from the underside of the metal fittings and requiring a process to scrape off the porcelain surface to stain it.

(Problem to be solved by the invention) The present invention solves these conventional problems, and
The small annular gap formed between porcelain, such as a porcelain pipe, and metal fittings can be efficiently and completely filled with mortar at a high density, eliminating the need for surface finishing and scraping off protrusions after filling. This method was developed for the purpose of filling mortar into small gaps between porcelain and metal fittings.

(Means for Solving the Problems) The present invention provides a flat jig that is provided with a plurality of through holes at symmetrical positions that communicate with the small gap formed between the porcelain and the metal fitting, in close contact with the end faces of the porcelain and the metal fitting, It is characterized in that the air inside the small gap is sucked through one of the through holes, and the pressurized mortar is filled into the small gap through the other through hole.

The present invention will be described in detail below with reference to illustrated embodiments. 1 is a porcelain such as an insulator tube, 2 is a metal fitting fixed to the outer periphery of the end thereof, and 3 is an annular ring formed between the porcelain 1 and the metal fitting 2. It is a small gap, and its width is narrow, less than 10 mm. In the present invention, first, a flat jig 4 is brought into close contact with the end surfaces of the porcelain 1 and the metal fitting 2. Two through holes 5 and 6 are formed in this jig 4 at symmetrical positions with respect to the center, and each through hole 5 and 6 is structured to communicate with the small gap 3. One of the through holes 5 is connected to a mortar tank 8 via a hose 7.
The other through hole 6 is connected to a vacuum pump 11 via a hose 9 and a drain trap 10.

Therefore, after the jig 4 is brought into close contact with the end faces of the porcelain 1 and the metal fittings 2, the vacuum pump 11 is activated to create an absolute pressure of 600 to 760 mm inside the small gap 3 through the through hole 6.
Reduce the pressure to about Hg. Note that in order to enhance the pressure reduction effect and prevent the mortar from protruding, a rubber seal 12 with a synthetic resin gasket is fitted in advance on the lower side of the metal fitting 2. While sucking the air inside the small gap 3 in this way, the valve 13 is opened and the mortar tank 8 is opened.
The mortar inside is supplied into the small gap 3 through the through hole 5. Air pressure of about 2 kg/cm 2 (gauge pressure) is applied inside this mortar tank 8, and even though the mortar is quite hard with a moisture content of about 18%, this pressurizing force and vacuum pump 11
The small annular gap 3 is filled with pressure within a short time of 1 to 2 seconds by the suction force of
Completely satisfies 3. Since the mortar fills the small gap 3 and tries to enter the inside of the pipe 9,
It is preferable to insert a filter 14 into the lower end of the through hole 6, which allows only air to pass through but not mortar.

Since the present invention fills the pressurized mortar inside the small gap 3 that has been depressurized as described above, the mortar can be efficiently filled in an extremely short period of time, and the moisture ratio is relatively low. Even when mortar is used, there is no risk of cavities or bubbles entering. However, according to the inventor's experiments, it is difficult to quickly and completely fill the mortar with low moisture content using only one of the pressurizing force and the suction force, and a combination of both is effective. Further, according to the present invention, the upper surface of the small gap 3 is sealed by the jig 4, and the lower surface is sealed by the rubber seal 12, so there is no risk of mortar protruding, and the mortar surface becomes a smooth surface. . Therefore, it is possible to eliminate the conventional finishing work and scraping off protruding mortar. After filling the mortar, the hoses 7 and 9 are removed from the jig 4, and after the mortar is hardened with the jig 4 attached, the jig 4 is removed.

(Effects of the Invention) As is clear from the above description, the present invention can efficiently and completely uniformly fill mortar into the small gap formed between the porcelain and the metal fittings. It can significantly improve work efficiency by omitting post-processing, etc., and has a great effect in streamlining the manufacturing process of insulator pipes and the like. Therefore, the present invention greatly contributes to the development of industry as a method for filling small gaps between porcelain and metal fittings with mortar, which eliminates the problems of the conventional method.
