には該車両用灯具をブロー成型法で形成するとき
の形成方法に係るものである。

〓従来の技術〓 従来この種の車両用灯具をブロー成形法で形成
しようとするときには、この車両用灯具の形状が

のであり、この理由により肉厚の不均一度が激し
くなり、実用に耐えるものは得られないとされて
いた。

大な効果が予想されるものであるが、その方法は
提供されないものであつた。

云う問題点を解決するための具体的な手段とし
て、ブロー成型法により形成される車両用灯具の
形成方法において、前記車両用灯具用の吹込成型
用金型には少なくとも前記車両用灯具の略光軸中
心線近傍に相当する位置に食切刃が設けられ、前
記光軸中心線に沿うレンズ面側延面距離とハウジ
ング延面距離とを同一、若しくは前記レンズ面側
延面距離が僅かに長いものと成るように前記食切
刃にて保持し形成することを特徴とする車両用灯
具の形成方法を提供することで、均一な肉厚の車
両用灯具が形成できるようにして問題点を解決す
るものである。

用灯具形成の工程を説明すると、第1図に符号1
で示すものはブロー成型機のノズルであり、この
ノズル1からパリソン2と称される軟化したチユ
ーブ状の樹脂が押出されてくるものを形成を行う
外径を持つレンズ面側金型3aとハウジング面側
金型3bで覆い、前記パリソン2が軟化状態にあ
るうちに内部に圧搾空気Aを吹込むことで前記両
金型3a,3bの内面に密着させて形成を行うも
ので、このときに前記パリソン2の端部2aは開
口しているので夫々の金型3a,3bにはこの部
分に対応して食切刃3c,3dが設けられ、この
食切刃3c,3dでパリソン2の端部2aを圧接
し密着、閉止するものである。本発明においては
この食切刃が開口部を閉止させる作用のみなら
ず、パリソン2を保持固定する作用を行わせるよ
うにして成されたものであり、通常には直線であ
るレンズ面側金型3aの合せ面4とハウジング面
側金型3bの合せ面5とを夫々対応する湾曲線と
し、更にこの合せ面4,5を食切刃としてある。

が現れるものとなる。この灯具6の光軸中心線Z
に沿う断面を示すものが第3図であり、上下面
夫々の前記噛線6aまでのレンズ面側延面距離R
とハウジング面側延面距離Hとが、 R=H、若しくはR>Hの範囲でR≒H の関係になるように前記金型3a,3bの合せ
面4,5を設定するものである。この様に延面距
離R,Hを略同一の長さとしたことで肉厚が略同
一の均一なものとすることが可能である。

作用を得るためには少なくとも光軸中心線Zの近
傍に設けることが必要である。

の形成方法を吹込成型用金型には少なくとも前記
車両用灯具の略光軸中心線近傍に相当する位置に
食切刃が設けられ、前記光軸中心線に沿うレンズ
面側延面距離とハウジング面側延面距離とを同
一、若しくは前記レンズ面側延面距離が僅かに長
いものと成るように前記食切刃にて保持し形成す
る様にしたことで均一な肉厚のものが得られるよ
うにしてブロー成型法によるこの種の灯具の製造
を可能とし、例えばレンズ面とハウジング面との
接着などの手間を無くして工程の簡素化とコスト
ダウンとに卓越した効果を奏するものである。
