As shown in FIGS. 5 and 6, a conventional coater table of this type has a suction surface 2 provided with numerous suction holes 3 that can suction the object 1 under reduced pressure.
A coater 4 is configured to run on the upper surface of the object 1 to be coated which is attracted to the surface. For example, the coater 4 has a side frame 5 in sliding contact with the upper surface of the object 1 to be coated, and transfers the coating liquid 8 stored between the blades 6 and 7 disposed between the side frames 5 to the blade 6 on the downstream side in the traveling direction. In the case of a so-called blade coater that can form a coating film 9 with a thickness corresponding to the gap by flowing out from a gap (not shown) provided at the lower end, the coater is coated on the suction surface 2 corresponding to the sliding contact area A of the coater. When circular suction holes 3 for adsorbing the coated object 1 are arranged in a row, dents (including dents that cannot be recognized with the naked eye) are formed in the suction area of the adsorbed object 1, which causes the coater 4 to As a result of moving up and down slightly as it travels,
There was a risk that horizontal steps (step-like stripes in the length direction of the blade) would be formed on the coating film 9 formed by flowing out from the gap at the lower end of the blade disposed between the side frames 5. Therefore,
Normally, a suction hole 3 is not provided in a portion B of the suction surface 2 corresponding to this coater sliding contact area A.

If the film is curly, such as a plastic film, the adsorption force of the area B (indicated by diagonal lines in Figure 6) corresponding to the coater sliding area A becomes weaker, causing this area to lift up and cause wrinkles. This caused problems with the runnability of the coater.

In view of the above-mentioned points, it is an object of the present invention to provide a coater table that can maintain a strong adsorption force in the portion corresponding to the coater sliding contact area and also allows the coater to run smoothly.

In order to achieve the above object, the present invention provides a coater table which has an adsorption surface capable of suctioning the object to be coated under reduced pressure and allows the coater to run by partially sliding on the upper surface of the object to be coated. A suction groove that is continuous in the running direction of the coater is provided in at least a portion of the suction surface corresponding to the coater sliding contact area, so that the coater sliding contact area can be suctioned without creating any dents that would impede the running of the coater. This is what I did.

The coater 23 includes a side frame 24 that slides into contact with the object 22 to be coated, and two blades 25 and 26 installed between the side frames 24, and runs a coating liquid 28 stored in a pocket 27 formed by these blades. The paint film 29 can be formed by flowing out from a gap (not shown) provided at the lower end of the blade 25 located downstream in the direction (arrow direction in FIG. 1).

As shown in the figure, it communicates with an external suction device 31, and the object to be coated 22 can be suctioned onto the suction surface 21 by the suction force of the suction device 31. A suction groove 34 continuous in the running direction of the coater 23 is provided in a portion 33 of the suction surface 21 corresponding to the coater sliding contact area 32 (the shaded area in FIG. 2). This is the object to be coated 22
is adsorbed in a linear manner in the running direction of the coater 23, so that dents that are inevitably formed during adsorption do not affect the running of the coater 23. Therefore, it is sufficient to provide the suction groove 34 only in the above-mentioned portion 33, but in this embodiment, as shown in FIG. It is designed to increase the suction power around the area. A round suction hole 37 is provided in the other portion 36. The reason is suction groove 3
4 has a small hole b formed in the inner bottom surface of a shallow groove a as shown in the third figure, and the formation of the groove and small hole takes more effort than simply forming a round hole, so this time and effort is taken into consideration. Of course, if the suction surface 21 is outside, the entire area of the suction surface 21 may be used as the suction groove 34.

As described above, the present invention provides a coater table which has a suction surface capable of suctioning the object to be coated under reduced pressure, and which allows the coater to run by partially sliding on the upper surface of the object to be coated. Since it is characterized by providing suction grooves that are continuous in the running direction of the coater at least in the area corresponding to the coater sliding contact area, the depressions that occur at the adsorption area of the coated object are continuous along the running direction of the coater. Therefore, the coater can slide the side frame against the upper surface of the object to be coated, and transfer the coating liquid stored between the blades installed between the side frames to the downstream side in the running direction. Even in the case of a so-called blade coater, which can flow out from the gap provided at the lower end of the blade and form a coating film with a thickness corresponding to the gap, it has excellent effects such as there is no risk of forming horizontal steps on the coating film. It is.
