Lithographic printing uses the chemical repulsion of water and oil to print on a flat surface with oil-based ink.The image area of the flat plate is treated to be lipophilic and hydrophobic, and the non-image area is hydrophilic. being sexually processed. As the lithographic plate material, an aluminum plate is mainly used, and the surface used is treated with graining (polishing) or the like to impart water-retentive properties. For example, PS plate (Pre Sensitized Plate) is a type of planographic plate material.
Then, after applying water retention treatment such as graining,
A photosensitive material is coated on the surface, which is then printed in close contact with the negative or positive during the plate-making process.
When this is developed, the photosensitive agent in the image area remains, and the photosensitive agent in the non-image area is removed to expose the water-retentive surface.

Conventionally, when cutting a lithographic plate material, as shown in FIG. 2, the cutting is performed by sandwiching the plate material between an upper blade 1 and a lower blade 2 and applying a shearing force to the lithographic plate material 3. It's normal.

The above-mentioned cutting method has a problem in that burrs are generated at the cut edges, and oil-based ink attached to the burrs is transferred onto the paper.
That is, the surface of the printing plate 3 used is grained or the like to form a water-retention treated surface 3a, but when cut by applying shearing force, among the four edges 5 to 8, Burrs occur on edges 6 and 7. When this burr occurs, a non-water retaining treated surface appears on the surface, so when the plate is made and used for printing, the oil-based ink attached to this portion is transferred to the paper, causing printing stains. It should be noted that although round eyelash sag occurs at the bottom of the edges 5 and 8, the water retention treated surface 3a wraps around these areas, so water retention is maintained and the edges do not hit the paper strongly during printing. , will not cause any inconvenience to printing.

SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION An object of the present invention is to provide a method for cutting a lithographic plate material, which allows the lithographic plate material to be cut without causing burrs at the cut edges.

In order to solve the above problems, the inventors of the present invention
As a result of various studies, it was discovered that by changing the direction of shearing force in two directions, all the edges become flat and no burrs occur at all.
That is, the present invention uses, for example, a cutter to apply shearing force to the lithographic plate material to form a step thereon, and then, for example, uses a roller to push it back so as to eliminate the step, thereby causing self-separation. It is.

FIG. 1 shows the cutting method of the present invention. The lithographic plate material 10 is made of a hydrophilic metal such as an aluminum plate, and as shown in A, both or one side of the surface used for printing is grained or the like to form a water-retentive surface 10a. After applying the photosensitive agent, it is cut into a predetermined size in steps B to D. First, the upper blade 12 and the lower blade 13 are applied along the cutting line 11 and moved in a direction approaching each other to apply shearing force. This shearing force is applied until the plate material 10 cracks, thereby forming a step in the plate material 10. Next, as shown in C, from both sides of the plate material 10, a flat plate or roller 14,
15 and push it back so that there is no difference in level as shown in D. By this pushing back, the plate material 1
The plate material 10 is cut from the planned cutting line 11 with a crack appearing in the cutting line 11.

As shown in E, all the edges 17 to 20 of the cut plate material 10 are rounded and drooped, and no burrs occur. That is, in the conventional cutting method, burrs occur on the edges 18 and 19, but in the present invention, when the plate material 10 is pushed back, the edges 18 and 19 are burred.
8 and 19 self-separate while being deformed so as to be drawn toward the center of the plate material 10, resulting in a shape in which the water-retention treated surface wraps around.

In the present invention, a shearing force is applied to the lithographic plate material to form a step, and then it is pushed back so that the step disappears to cause self-separation. Therefore, all edges are removed without burrs. It is rounded and has a water-retention treated surface wrapped around it.
Therefore, unlike traditional cutting methods, there is no burr that exposes the part of the fabric that has not been treated with water retention treatment, so there is no chance of oil-based ink getting on this part during printing and causing printing smudges. . Since burrs do not occur in the present invention, both sides can be effectively used as printing plates, and even in the case of single-sided products, there is no inconvenience such as unusable portions due to the cut edges.
