Conventionally, air purifiers installed in the interior of a vehicle have a sensor installed at one location on the ceiling of the vehicle, and drive and control the fan based on the sensor's activation signal. In the front seat, the sensor would not detect even if the air was filled with cigarette smoke, and in the front seat, the sensor would detect even the slightest amount of cigarette smoke, which resulted in the inconvenience of uneven air purification performance.

The air purifying device 1 includes a box body 4 having a gas inlet 2 and an outlet 3, and a smoke sensor 5 provided near the inlet 2 of the box. In the drawings of the embodiment, the smoke sensor 5 is provided on the wall inside the inlet 2, but the smoke sensor 5' may be provided outside the inlet 2. A filter 6 is provided inside the box 4 to filter (adsorb) smoke, dust, odor particles, and the like. Inside the same box body 4 are a fan 7 for inflowing and discharging gas, and a blower motor 8 that drives the fan 7.
is provided. The blower motor 8 rotates at high speed in response to an activation signal from the smoke sensor 5, but normally rotates at a low speed. This low-speed rotation allows locally contaminated air in the room where the air purifier 1 is installed to pass through the installation position of the smoke sensor 5 as quickly as possible.

As shown in the flowchart in FIG. 3 and the time chart showing changes in smoke concentration in the upper part of FIG. The fan 7 rotates at low speed and slowly sucks the air inside the car. The low speed rotation of the fan 7 of the air purifying device 1 may be started manually. Here, when the smoke sensor 5 detects smoke of a certain concentration or higher, the fan 7 switches to high-speed rotation, continues in this state for a certain period of time (for example, several tens of seconds) according to a timer, and then switches to medium-speed rotation, after which the smoke sensor 5 After a certain period of time after the output is lost, it will switch to normal low speed rotation. According to the above method, even if the smoke concentration rises locally in a certain part of the car, the smoke sensor 5 detects the concentration as soon as possible, so even if the smoke is full in a certain part, the air is purified. There is no inconvenience that the air purifying device 1 does not operate, and the air purifying device 1 can be operated, stopped,
Driving is not repeated in a short period of time. Further, since the fan 7 is continuously rotated for a certain period of time determined by a timer after the smoke sensor 5 reaches a certain level or less, the indoor air can be sufficiently purified. Furthermore, since the air purifying device 1 is installed at the rear of the room, the natural air flow caused by driving, the air flow from the air conditioner blowing from the front to the rear, etc., and the low speed rotation of the fan 7 in the air purifying device 1 are controlled. Since the directions of the air flows are substantially the same and do not conflict with each other, indoor air can be efficiently introduced into the smoke sensor 5 of the air purifier 1, and there is no variation in the time until the air purifier 1 starts up. will be done promptly. In addition, air purifier 1
Since the smoke sensor 5 and the smoke sensor 5 are integrated, installation, removal, electrical wiring, etc. are extremely easy.

If it is above, there is a comparison means which generates an output, a first timer means which starts its operation at the rising edge of the output of the comparison means and generates an output for a certain period of time, and after the output of the first timer means disappears. Retriggerable second timer means that generates an output until a certain period of time elapses after the output of the comparison means disappears; and a retriggerable second timer means that rotates the fan motor 8 at a low speed if there is no output from the comparison means, first and second timer means. If there is an output from the first timer means, the drive signal L 0 is used to rotate the fan motor 8 at high speed, and if there is an output from the second timer means, the drive signal Hi is used to rotate the fan motor 8 at a medium speed. The control circuit includes a motor driving means for outputting Mi respectively.

As described above, according to the present invention, a box having a gas inlet and an outlet is disposed at the rear of the vehicle,
A smoke sensor is provided near the inlet of the box, a filter is provided near the inlet of the box, and filters smoke, dust, odor particles, etc. inside the box;
A blower motor and a fan are provided that rotate in response to the output of the smoke sensor, and the fan is controlled to rotate at a low speed when the concentration detected by the smoke sensor is below a certain value, and the fan is turned on when the concentration detected by the smoke sensor is above a certain value. The fan is configured to include a control means that controls the fan to rotate at a high speed compared to the low speed rotation, and continues to operate the fan for a certain period of time after the smoke sensor output falls below a certain concentration to control the fan to the high speed rotation state. By rotating at a low speed, the smoke sensor introduces local air pollution in the car interior etc. to the smoke sensor as quickly as possible and detects its concentration, so it does not work at all even if there is local air pollution like in the conventional case. This eliminates variations in operation, such as when the smoke sensor does not work properly or when it activates quickly in response to dirt near the smoke sensor.
