In the former conventional type, the fire hydrant is suspended underground and the open part at the top is covered with a lid, so it overlaps the median strip that branches the upper and lower lines of roads such as bridges. It is not possible to install it along the lower part of the protective fence. Furthermore, even if the fire hydrant described in the bulletin were installed underground on the road, it would be difficult to open and close the door from above and below the road, and there would also be difficulties in visualizing the installation status of the fire hydrant. , and it takes a considerable amount of time to let out the hose in an emergency. Furthermore, the latter of the above-mentioned conventional types is a household fire hose storage device that allows household fire hoses to be easily taken out from a high position, and also serves as a median strip that separates the upper and lower lines of roads such as bridges. Even if installed along the bottom of a protective fence, it cannot be used as a fire hydrant for emergency fires on roads. Therefore, for example, there is a technology that should be solved in order to obtain a fire hydrant that can be easily installed in the median strip of the Seto Ohashi Bridge built over the Seto Inland Sea, and that can immediately respond to emergency fires on the road of the bridge. However, the present invention aims to solve these problems.

Hereinafter, one embodiment of the present invention will be described based on the drawings. For convenience of explanation, conventionally known configurations will also be explained at the same time. In the figure, reference numeral 1 denotes an equipment box, and the equipment box 1 has a rectangular parallelepiped shape that is elongated in the front and back direction. is arranged approximately parallel to the road surface GL, approximately horizontally, and along the front-rear direction, and the water supply shaft pipe 3 is connected by a bearing 5 provided on the support body 4 and a rotary joint 7 provided on the support body 6. Rotatably supported, equipment box 1
Openings 8 and 9 are provided on the left and right sides of the upper part of the hose, the hose 11 is fitted into a hose connection pipe 10 communicating with the water supply shaft pipe 3, and a nozzle 12 is attached to the tip of the hose 11 wound around the hose reel 2. The nozzle 12 is removably elastically fitted to the fitting 13 made of a plate spring attached to the device box 1, and if the nozzle 12 is removed from the fitting 13 and pulled out from the opening 8 or 9, the hose is removed. The reel 2 rotates around its axis together with the water supply shaft pipe 3, so that the hose 11 can be drawn out from the opening 8 or 9. The openings 8 and 9 are formed so that the ceiling plate 14 of the equipment box 1 and the lower portions of the left and right side plates 15 and 16 are left open so that they do not interfere with the above-mentioned drawing of the hose 11 and are free from damage. It is equipped with a door D that can close the openings 8 and 9 in use, and the door D illustrated in FIGS. 1, 3, and 5 has a front plate part 17, a rear plate part A left door 20 and a right door 21 having a portion 18 and a side plate portion 19 are connected to the left and right side plates 1.
The left door 20 and the right door 21 are provided with dampers 23 that are biased in the opening direction, and the respective latches are When the left door 20 and the right door 21 are opened downward by themselves by the damper 23, the hose 11 is connected to the guide rollers 24, 24 provided at the bottom of the equipment box and the left door. door 20,
It is guided by guide rollers 25, 25 provided on the right door 21 so that it can be pulled out with little resistance. Various structures can be used for the door D, and examples are illustrated in FIGS. 7 to 10. In FIG.
When opened, the left door 26 or the right door 27 is located below the protective fence 29 of the median strip, and the openings 8 and 9 are pivoted to open upward.
It is designed so as not to obstruct the front of the 8th
In the third embodiment shown in the figure, a parallel linkage 30
Since the left door 31 and right door 32 are hinged using This has the advantage that the forward protrusion from the openings 8 and 9 can be made extremely small. Furthermore, in the fourth embodiment shown in FIG. 9, door guide rollers 33 and 34 are provided at the top of the device box 1, and when closed, the left door 35 and right door 36 are secured to the ceiling by locking fittings. It can be locked to the plate 14 and the left and right side plates 15 or 16, and when the locking fittings are removed and the right door 36 is pushed up, for example, the door guide roller 34 of the right door
The right door 36 rests on the door and moves to the left, so if the hook 37 provided on the left edge is locked to the left door guide roller 33 from below, the right door 36 is held below the ceiling plate 14. It is configured so that Furthermore, the fifth embodiment shown in FIG.
The shutter 39 is provided so that it can be opened and closed along the front and rear shutter guides 38, 38, and has the advantage that the shutter 39 does not protrude forward from the openings 8, 9. The inlet side of the water supply shaft pipe 3 is connected to a fire hydrant valve 40 via a rotary joint 7, and the fire extinguishing fluid flowing from the supply pipe 41 connected to the fire extinguishing fluid supply source outside the equipment box 1 is connected to the pressure regulating valve 42. When the lever 43 of the fire hydrant valve 40, which is in the closed position perpendicular to the front-rear direction, is rotated parallel to the front-rear direction, the pressure is regulated and supplied to the fire hydrant valve 40.
0 is opened, and when this pump is operated using a pump not shown as the fire extinguishing fluid supply source, the valve part is closed by the pressure of the fire extinguishing fluid and the pump is stopped. When the valve part is opened, the extinguishing liquid remaining in the water supply shaft pipe 3 and intermediate piping, etc.
An automatic drain valve 44 is provided to allow water to flow down from a drain port 45. A push button 46 for starting the pump and a fire extinguishing liquid pressure gauge 47 are provided on the operation panel 48. Further, a fire brigade spigot 50 is connected to the supply pipe 41 via a rotary joint 49 that can freely rotate in a substantially horizontal plane. Then, as illustrated in FIGS. 5 and 6, the device is positioned below the protective fence 29 between the pillars 51 and 51 supporting the protective fence 29, and
It is located so that most of the left and right side plates 15, 16 are buried below, and the equipment box 1 is buried as deep as possible to the extent that the openings 8, 9 protrude upward from the road surface GL. The length of the hose 11 to be pulled out can be ensured by making the hose reel 2 long in the front and back by fully utilizing the longitudinal length between the supports 51 and 51. become. Since the water supply shaft pipe 3 is supported substantially parallel to the road surface GL and in a substantially horizontal manner, the hose 11
The rotational resistance of the hose reel 2 during withdrawal is extremely small, and the hose 11 can be easily withdrawn.

The fire hydrant installed on a bridge or the like according to the present invention is constructed as described above, and the door D of the device box 1 is opened to open the opening 8 or 9 facing either the up or down lane. When the hose 11 is pulled out from the opening 9 and pulled, the hose reel 2 rotates around the water supply shaft pipe 3, and the hose 11 is fed out and pulled out from the opening. Since the openings 8 and 9 are provided on the left and right sides of the upper part of the equipment box 1 in this way, the lower part of the equipment box 1 can be buried below the lane surface to make the height sufficiently low, and it can be accessed from either the upper or lower lane side. The hose 11 can also be pulled out and used, making it possible to use one fire hydrant efficiently. Since the hose reel 2 rotates around the water supply shaft pipe 3 which is arranged in the front-rear direction and substantially parallel to the road surface, when the hose 11 is drawn out, the hose is drawn out along the road surface, and the rotational resistance is small. ,
In addition to being able to be pulled out easily, by forming the hose reel 2 long in the front-rear direction, a sufficient length can be secured even if the reel diameter is small, so the horizontal width of the equipment box 1 is large. This made it possible to create a compact fire hydrant with an extremely small amount of protrusion into the up and down lanes.
