この発明はポリエステルフイルムの熱接着装置

めにポリエステルフイルムを2枚重ね合わせたも

例えば特公昭58−38297号公報「ポリエステルフ
イルムの熱接着法」に見られるように、2枚重ね
合わせたポリエステルフイルム片Aを挟圧支持す
るための、一定長の挟圧支持板イ,ロを上下に設
けたクランプ装置、挟圧支持板イ,ロの外方に突
出する被接着辺aに所要の加熱を与えるための、
被接着辺a全長に相対して配置する一定温度の加
熱体ハを接近させ、離反させる加熱装置とからな

行により挟圧支持されながら加熱手段5の加熱体
4に接近、通過していくと被接着辺aはその先行
部分から加熱される。この加熱により被接着辺a
はその先行部分から次第に溶融していき、この溶
融により被接着辺aには収縮が発生し、この収縮
がフイルム片Aの進行に従つて大きくなつていく
が、加熱体4の加熱面4aの被接着辺aに対する
間隔が加熱始め部分から加熱終り部分にかけて次
第に小さくなり、加熱終り部分では見掛け上加熱
終り部分が被接着辺aに重なつていくように設定
されているので、加熱始め部分から加熱終り部分
にかけての加熱体4の加熱面4aの被接着辺aと
間隔が変わらず、従つて被接着辺aの温度を低下
せずに被接着辺aの極近傍から一定の温度での加
熱がなされる。これにより被接着辺aの溶着面
(上、下フイルム片Aの接合面)についての溶融
速度を一定とし、溶融融着部の最高温度も一定と

を次々に間断なく能率よく熱接着処理することが
でき、また被接着辺の収縮を考慮しながら被接着
辺の極近傍から一定の低温度の加熱での上記熱接
着ができるから熱劣化が生ぜず機械的強度が大き
い接着が得られ、そして作業性がよい等の効果を

手段5とからなり、その加熱手段5における棒状
加熱体4の加熱面4aの被接着辺aに対する間隔
が加熱始め部分から加熱終り部分にかけて次第に
小さくなり、加熱終り部分では、見掛け上加熱終
り部分が被接着辺aに重なつていくように設定さ
れていることを特徴とするポリエステルフイルム
