[Industrial Application Fields] Decorative plywood in which a decorative veneer, also known as a veneer, is adhered to a plywood substrate, and which has a structure that gives it a warp that projects upward in the longitudinal direction, and the decorative plywood. This relates to a manufacturing method. [Prior art] Conventionally, plywood is selected as a substrate, and a decorative veneer, called a veneer, is adhered to the surface of the plywood.
Decorated plywood is decorative plywood, which is also called natural wood decorative plywood or veneer overlay plywood.
Widely used as interior wall materials and flooring materials for buildings, surface materials for furniture and wood products, etc., the structure of decorative plywood, in which decorative veneer is bonded to the plywood substrate, and the manufacturing method of the decorative plywood are commonly carried out. This is what has been done. [Problem to be Solved by the Invention] In the structure of the decorative plywood and the manufacturing method thereof that have been commonly practiced in the past, the concave warp that protrudes downward in the vertical direction, that is, the longitudinal direction of the plywood, as shown in FIG. This kind of warpage makes it difficult to apply the decorative board continuously on the substrate when it is used as a floorboard or interior wall material, and it is difficult to flatten the board after installation. There was a problem. In order to solve this problem, it would be good to manufacture flat decorative plywood without warping, but even if horizontally flat decorative plywood is manufactured after heat-pressing, the flat state is only temporary, and the environmental Depending on the dry and wet conditions, the wood moisture content of the decorative plywood itself changes, causing effects such as contraction and expansion, resulting in a concave warp that protrudes downward over time. An object of the present invention is to provide a decorative plywood that solves the problems of the prior art described above. [Means for Solving the Problems] As a result of repeated research in order to solve the above problems, the inventors of the present invention have solved the convex warpage that protrudes upward in the longitudinal direction as shown in Fig. 1b. It has been found that the above problem can be solved by applying it to decorative plywood.
Based on this new knowledge, we conducted further research and determined that the composition of decorative plywood was two-ply plywood made by laminating and bonding two plywood sheets, a middle plate of plywood bonded to the back side, and a fiber direction. By using the same backing veneer, we were able to successfully obtain decorative plywood with a convex warp that projects upward in the longitudinal direction, leading to the completion of the present invention. That is, the decorative plywood of the present invention is made by laminating and bonding two plywood sheets, and a decorative veneer is placed on the surface of the two-ply plywood, and a lining having the same fiber direction as the middle plate of the plywood is placed on the back side of the two-ply plywood. The decorative plywood manufacturing method of the present invention is characterized by laminating and bonding veneers, and the method for manufacturing decorative plywood of the present invention involves stacking two plywood sheets and laminating a backing veneer having the same fiber direction as the middle plate of the plywood on the back side. After bonding them together under heat and pressure, a decorative veneer is laminated on the surface of the laminated and bonded product, and the adhesive is bonded under heat and pressure. Note that three-ply plywood is usually used as each plywood constituting the two-ply plywood. [Function] Decorative plywood with decorative veneer bonded to the surface of plywood is usually bonded under heat and pressure with a high moisture content.
The decorative veneer goes from an expanded state to a contracted state due to heat and pressure, and then to a contracted state over time due to the drying state, and due to this contracted state, the first
It is thought that this results in a concave warp that protrudes downward as shown in Figure a. The present invention prevents shrinkage caused by thermo-pressure adhesion of the lining veneer and the presence of cracks in the back of the lining veneer by bonding the lining veneer with the same fiber direction as the middle plate of the substrate plywood to the back surface of the substrate plywood. As a result, a shrinkage warp effect occurs on the back surface of the decorative plywood that is stronger than the surface shrinkage warp effect caused by the decorative veneer, and the first
It is thought that the decorative plywood will have an upwardly protruding convex warp as shown in Figure b and Figure 2. [Example] An example of the present invention will be described in detail with reference to FIGS. 2 and 3. As shown in FIG. Decorative veneer 4 on the front side of 1 and 2, plywood 1 and 2 on the back side
It has a structure in which a backing veneer 3 with the same fiber direction as the middle plate is laminated and bonded, and the two plywood boards 1 and 2 have the same thickness, for example, 2.5 mm, and the front and back veneers of the 3-ply structure are, for example, 0.65mm each, the middle plate is
A veneer with a thickness of 1.2 mm was selected, and the decorative veneer 4 was made of precious wood with a thickness of 0.2 to 1.0 mm, and the backing veneer 3 was the same as the middle plate of the plywood 1 and 2 above. Select 1.2mm thick veneer, plywood 1,
It has a structure in which it is bonded in the same fiber direction as the middle plate of No. 2. Next, the method for manufacturing decorative plywood of the present invention can be roughly divided into two lamination and bonding steps, a and b, as shown in FIGS. 3a and 3b. First, as shown in Figure 3a, two plywood boards 1 and 2 are stacked in a 3-ply configuration, with the front and back veneers and the middle board having the same thickness, and the fiber direction is applied to the back side of the two plywood boards 1 and 2. The same as the middle plate of plywood 1 and 2, backing veneer 3
The adhesives used for plywood production, such as phenol resin, urea resin, and amino resin such as melamine resin, are applied in advance to each adhesive surface, and the temperature is 110 to 140℃ and the pressing pressure is applied. 4~10Kg/
cm 2 , heat-pressing operation under conditions of 2 to 10 minutes of pressing time,
A backing veneer 3 whose fiber direction is the same as that of the middle plate of the plywood is laminated and bonded to the back surfaces of the two plywood boards 1 and 2, and then the process shown in FIG. 3b is carried out. That is, the surface of the plywood 1 that has been laminated and bonded in the above process is coated with a styrene-butadiene adhesive or water-based vinyl urethane resin adhesive, etc., with or without interposing adhesive backing paper to the decorative veneer 4, and the decorative veneer is applied. Laminate 4 veneers at a temperature of 100 to 140℃ and a pressing pressure of 4 to 400℃.
They were bonded by hot pressure at a pressure of 10 Kg/cm 2 for a time of 0.5 to 5 minutes. In this way, lamination of A2 plywood and backing veneer,
The reason why the process of hot-pressure bonding and the process of hot-pressure bonding a decorative veneer on the surface of the laminated veneer in b and a are separated depending on the type of adhesive, the lamination of veneers, and plywood. This is because the heat and pressure conditions are different based on the thickness of the material to be processed, and if step b is preceded,
In other words, if you heat-press the decorative veneer to the plywood before bonding the backing veneer by heat-pressing, then the decorative veneer will be bonded to the plywood again under stronger heat-pressure conditions when bonding the backing veneer by heat-pressure. This is because surface cracking may occur due to over-drying of the decorative veneer due to the operation. and,
If necessary as a subsequent process, for example, 3 shaku x 6
The pieces are cut into 1-shaku widths as appropriate to make 1-shaku x 6-shaku pieces, and after actual processing, the surface is painted. In addition, 3 ply or 5 ply of the same thickness as the total thickness of 5 mm of the two ply boards 1 and 2 of the above embodiment
If plywood is used with a 1.2 mm thick backing veneer adhered to the back side of the plywood, the structure will be approximately the same as that of the decorative plywood of the above embodiment, but in the longitudinal direction, the decorative plywood of the present invention will be Similar to plywood, a convex warp that protrudes upward can occur, but a concave warp that protrudes downward in the width direction may occur, creating an unstable condition. cannot be within the range of The two-ply plywood used as an example of the present invention is shown as having a thickness of 2.5 mm and a total thickness of 5 mm, but is not limited to this. However, the present invention is not limited to this, and the present invention can also be applied to plywood having a thickness of 5 mm or more, and the thickness of the backing veneer is not limited to that described in the above embodiments. In the present invention, two sheets of plywood are stacked and a backing veneer with the same fiber direction as the middle plate of the plywood is laminated and bonded by hot pressing on the back side. Due to the shrinkage effect of Decorative plywood with a protruding convex warp is relatively easy to construct by connecting it to a substrate, even when used as floorboards or interior wall materials, and is also easy to flatten after construction. . In addition, after stacking two plywood sheets and heat-pressing bonding a backing veneer to the back side, a decorative veneer was laminated on the surface of the laminated and bonded material and heat-pressure bonding, so that the backing veneer and the decorative veneer were bonded to the plywood 2 at the same time. Compared to the method of hot-pressing bonding the front and back sides of a stack of plywood, or the method of first hot-pressing a decorative veneer to two plywood sheets and then heat-pressing bonding a backing veneer to the back side of the laminated board, This method can be said to prevent the occurrence of surface cracks on the veneer.
