なる。(Prior art) Currently, most fishing rods use drawn prepreg, which is a drawn sheet of high-strength fibers impregnated with synthetic resin, and the drawn prepreg is wound so that the high-strength fibers are oriented in the circumferential direction. After that, the aligned prepreg is wound around the outer periphery of the inner layer so that its high-strength fibers are oriented in the length direction to form an outer layer. By doing this, the high-strength fibers, which are lightweight and have high tensile strength, are tensioned and a high-strength fishing rod can be manufactured. When cellophane tape B is wrapped and tied around the outer periphery of the outer layer of the rod body A, a shearing force perpendicular to the length direction of the outer high-strength fibers acts on the high-strength fibers C of the outer layer. For this reason, the high-strength fibers of the outer layer are cut.

のである。 When wrapping the cellophane tape around the rod body, it is unfired and not hardened and is in a soft state. Therefore, when the cellophane tape is wrapped and tied so that the ends in the width direction are overlapped, as shown in Fig. 6. As shown in , the inner part of the overlapping part is bound by the outer part of the overlapping part, and a larger binding force acts on the inner edge b of the overlapping part than the other plane parts excluding the inner edge b of the overlapping part, Therefore, even if there is a core bar on the center side, the high-strength fibers in the part bound by the inner edge b of the overlapping part are strongly pressed against the part bound by the plane part in the direction of the binding force. In other words, a very large shearing force perpendicular to the length direction of the high-strength fiber acts, and this shearing force causes
The high-strength fibers, which originally have low resistance to loads perpendicular to the length direction, are cut.

緊縛による剪断力で切断され易いのである。 High-strength fibers whose inner layer is oriented in the circumferential direction have a large repulsive force, so this repulsive force causes the outer layer to be spread out before the cellophane tape is wrapped around it, and there is a gap between the outer layer and the inner layer or between the outer layers. A gap may occur, and when the cellophane tape is wrapped around the outer periphery of the outer layer and bound in this state, the high-strength fibers in the portion bound by the inner edge b of the overlapped portion of the cellophane tape The planar portion tends to be displaced excessively in the direction of action of the binding force relative to the part that is bound, and is likely to be cut by the shearing force caused by the binding.

問題がある。 When the high-strength fibers are cut as described above, a part where the high-strength fibers are shredded is created in the middle part of the rod body in the length direction, and the strength is extremely reduced. There is a problem with it being easy to break.

By wrapping the outer layer of the rod body so that no force is applied, it is possible to prevent the high-strength fibers from being cut due to the binding force of the cellophane tape.

たのである。(Structure of the Invention) Accordingly, the structure of the present invention is to form an inner layer by winding a prepreg in which aligned high-strength fibers are impregnated with a synthetic resin so that the high-strength fibers are oriented in the circumferential direction. The fishing rod is made by winding around the outer periphery a prepreg made of aligned high-strength fibers impregnated with a synthetic resin so that the high-strength fibers are oriented in the length direction to form an outer layer, and then pressurized and fired. A stretched sheet made of high-strength fibers impregnated with a synthetic resin is placed around the entire outer periphery of the rod body formed by winding the prepreg, and the high-strength fibers of the sheet intersect with the center of the rod body, In addition, the high-strength fibers of the outer layer are not cut even if the cellophane tape is wound in a conventional manner by winding the cellophane tape in a direction not perpendicular to the cellophane tape used for binding during pressure firing.

As shown in FIG. 5, cellophane tape 4 is spirally wrapped around the outer periphery of the rod to bind it tightly, and the synthetic resin in the layer of the sheet 3 and the rod body 1 is cured by heating and baking in a heating furnace. After that, the cellophane tape 4 is peeled off.

る。 Thus, the cellophane tape 4 is wound spirally so that its ends in the width direction overlap, but the high-strength fibers 3a of the alignment sheet 3 wrapped around the outer periphery of the rod body 1 are Since it intersects with the center O of the rod body 1 and is not perpendicular to the cellophane tape 4, when the cellophane tape 4 is wrapped, the inner edge of the overlapping portion of the cellophane tape 4 Even if a larger binding force is applied to the inner edge 4a than other parts except for the inner edge 4a, shearing force perpendicular to the cellophane tape 4 can be prevented from acting on the high-strength fibers 3a of the sheet 3. be.

Because it was wrapped in a direction that intersected the center of the rod body and was not perpendicular to the cellophane tape,
Even if the cellophane tape is wrapped and tied so that the ends in the width direction overlap, the high-strength fibers of the aligned sheet that come into contact with the cellophane tape will not be perpendicular to the length direction of the high-strength fibers. This makes it possible to avoid a situation in which shearing force acts on the high-strength fibers due to the binding of the cellophane tape, and to prevent the high-strength fibers from being cut in the circumferential direction and the high-strength fibers to This, combined with the provision of an outer layer that is oriented toward the surface, makes it possible to create a fishing rod with extremely high strength.
