At this time, in order to avoid blood pressure measurement errors, it is important to adjust the tightness of the arm cuff and to not loosen the cuff during measurement.

Annular cuff 5 for blood pressure measurement as shown in the figure
0 is mentioned. In the figure, an annular strap 52 extends from a substantially central portion 51a of the cuff 50 toward one end 51b, and conversely, an air bag outer cloth with a built-in air bag 53 for ischemia extends toward the other end 51c. 54 is extended. A hanging sheet 5 in which a convex hanging member is planted near the tip 51c of the air bag outer cloth 54
5 is provided, whereby an annular strap 5 is provided.
Hang 2. Further, in order to inject air into the air bag 53, an air injection pipe 56 protrudes from the side edge of the approximately central portion of the air bag outer cloth 54. FIG. 6 shows a state in which the arm cuff 50 configured as described above is worn on the upper arm, and 57 is the upper arm. Before the air bag 53 is pressurized by injecting air, a gap 58 is created between the inner surface of the air bag outer cloth 54 and the outer surface of the air bag 53. Further, an inner surface 59 of the air bag outer cloth 54 that contacts the upper arm 57 is formed with a recess 60 that is folded into the inner surface. In order to put the arm cuff 50 in a measurable state, a ring-shaped hanging band 52 is hung on a hanging sheet 55.

る。 In the above-mentioned state in which the arm cuff is worn, a gap 58 is formed between the arm cuff 50 and the upper arm 57 in the initial stage, and a plurality of depressions 60 are formed in the inner surface 59. Air is injected from the pipe 56 and the air bag 5
When the pressure of 3 is increased, the inner surface 59 becomes as shown by the arrow.
As shown in T 1 to T 4 , a force is generated in the air bag 53 that tries to stretch it from a "C" shape to an "I" shape, but the air bag outer cloth 54 on the inner surface 59 side is stretched by the air on the outer surface 59' side. Since the periphery is fixed to the outer bag cloth 54, the arm cuff 5
0 as a whole shows the behavior of shifting in the direction of arrow S in the figure with the upper arm 11 as the axis. This force that tends to shift in the direction of arrow S is equivalent to the force (hereinafter referred to as pressing force) of the inner surface 59 of the air bag outer cloth 54 being pressed against the arm by the air bag 53, and the inner surface 59 is When the material is not stretchable, the already formed depression 60 and gap 58 are widened depending on the balance between the shearing force and the pressing force. As a result,
Discontinuous "slip" between inner surface 59 and upper arm 57
will occur. Due to this "sliding", the formation location of each depression 60 may be moved, or a new one may be created.
A large number of unevenly formed depressions may occur.

Particularly when blood pressure is measured based on pressure fluctuations in blood pressure during the pressure increase process, not only the measured value decreases, but depending on the degree, measurement may become impossible.

Furthermore, an air bag 5 for ischemia is built in between the approximately central portion 4a and one end portion 4b of the blood pressure measurement cuff 1, and air is supplied to the air bag 5 from approximately the intermediate portion 6 of the side edge. A pipe 7 for injecting air protrudes. Furthermore, near the tip 4b of the outer surface 3 of the cuff, a hanging sheet 9 having a substantially rectangular outer shape and having a convex hanging member implanted therein is spread.

A terry fabric sheet 10 is used between the above-mentioned hanging sheet 9 and the hanging sheet 9. In particular, stockinette knitted cloth such as knit or jersey is used for the cloth sheet 8, but the cloth sheet is not limited to this as long as the direction of expansion and contraction covers all 360 degrees on the sheet surface. .

The cuff 1 for blood pressure measurement wrapped around the upper arm 11 has a stretchable cloth sheet 8 as its contact surface with the skin, and a terry cloth sheet 10 and a hanging sheet 9 are hung at appropriate positions. ing. In addition, a plurality of depressions 12 are formed in the cloth-like sheet 8 to fit into the air bladder 5. In this way, the tightened state when installed is maintained.

An air bag 5 (not shown in cross section) is built in with plenty of space 13 inside. In this state, air is injected from the air injection pipe 7 (not shown) to fill the air bag 5.

(not shown in cross-section) is almost occluded by the expansion, compressing the artery of the upper arm 11. At this time, in the recess 12, even if the cloth sheet 8 is pressed by the air bag 5, it has elasticity, so by simply stretching the cloth sheet 8 in the recess 12, the cloth sheet 8, especially in the part pressed against the skin, can be stretched. The sheet 8 is not stretched due to the elongation of the recess 12, and this can prevent "slipping" from occurring. That is, if a cloth sheet such as knit or jersey is used as the cloth sheet 8 for the inner surface of the cuff 2, it can be expanded and contracted at areas other than the contact surface with the upper arm, so there is no "slip" between the arm cuff and the upper arm. will no longer occur.

る。 In this way, stretching the cloth sheet 8 when worn means that the skin surface of the upper arm 11 "slips" as the air bag 5 expands, compared to a cloth sheet that has no elasticity at all. Alternatively, "generation of new depressions" can be prevented. Therefore, it is possible to prevent the generation of discontinuous vibrations due to sliding friction such as "slip" and "creation of new depressions", and to obtain a realistic blood pressure measurement value without reducing the accuracy of the measurement value.

It expands and contracts in line with the inflation and contraction of the air bag, and prevents it from slipping at the part that comes into contact with the living body, so the arm can be tightened without any loss due to the expansion and contraction of the air bag, and the accuracy of the measurement value is reduced. This can prevent discontinuous vibrations that may occur.
