〔発明の目的〕 (産業上の利用分野) この発明は、主にVTRのカセツトケース内に
組込まれているテープリールに関する。 (従来の技術) 周知の如くVTRのカセツトケース内に組込ま
れているテープリールは、第3図の如くハブ2の
片側に下フランジ5を有するリール本体1と、ハ
ブ2の反対側に取付ける上フランジ8、及びハブ
外周の幅方向に設けたクランプ穴3に嵌合係止す
るクランプピース9より構成され、リール本体1
のハブ内より幅方向に開口するハブ孔4を設け、
ハブ孔の内周面にハブ爪14を等間隔に突設し、
ハブ孔口縁壁4aより外側の下フランジ下面5a
にカセツトケース内に載置する支持壁6を設け、
下フランジ5の外周に歯15を有するものであ
る。このリール本体1を合成樹脂で形成すると、
径方向に肉厚が一様でないため熱収縮等により変
形が生じる。特にハブ2より外周に突出する下フ
ランジ幅lは録音時間の長短、即ち磁器テープの
巻取量に応じて広くなり、長時間用テープリール
の下フランジにあつては32mmにも達するため、フ
ランジに内外方向の反り変形が生じた。下フラン
ジ5がテープ巻取側の内側に反り、上下フランジ
間がテープ幅より狭くなると、テープが幅方向に
彎曲状態で巻取られたり巻戻されるため、テープ
の録画や録音、記憶に悪影響を与えるし、反対に
フランジが外側に反るえと、カセツトに触れて回
転ムラを生じる等の不都合があるので、反り変形
の大きいリールは不良品とされていた。 (発明が解決しようとする問題点) フランジの反りを許容値以内にする手段とし
て、金型の対する溶融樹脂の充填速度と充填温
度、金型の温度、及び成形品の射出時間等の調整
にて行われていたが、これらの調整には高度の熟
練を要するし、調整しても不良品が20%程度も発
生するばかりか、外気温度の昇降によつても反り
が変形するため、その都度、再調整しなければな
らない面倒があつた。 〔発明の構成〕 (問題点を解決するための手段) 出願人は先にテープリールにおけるフランジの
反り防止手段として、特開昭60−246072号の如く
下フランジに放射方向の補強リブを設けると共
に、リブを避けた位置に貫通孔を穿設する発明を
成し、更にその改良を続けて本発明に至つたもの
で、本発明はリール本体の口縁壁より外周の下フ
ランジ基部に支持壁を設け、口縁壁と支持壁の間
に生じる溝をハブとフランジに跨がるようにし、
且つ溝底を溝幅方向に傾斜して、熱収縮等による
フランジの反りを調整するものである。 (作用) 支持壁がハブ口縁壁より外周の下フランジ基部
に設けられ、口縁壁と支持壁の間に生じる溝がハ
ブとフランジに跨がり、溝底が溝幅方向に傾斜し
ているため、溝底の傾斜角を調整して肉厚を変形
し、偏肉による熱収縮差を利用して下フランジの
反りを修正することができる。 (実施例) 以下、本発明によるテープリールの構造を実施
例の図面に基づき説明すると、リール本体1は従
来と基本的に同じで、ハブ2は下向きにハブ孔4
を形成する軸受部12の外側に、磁器テープ巻取
用のハブ外周壁22を設け、外周壁22の一箇所
に幅方向のクランプ穴3を、又軸受部12の端面
2aより上方に数個の突起13を形成し、ハブ孔
4の内周面に数条のハブ爪14を等間隔に設け、
ハブ孔4の口縁壁4aより外側に支持壁6を突設
し、フランジ5の外周部に歯15を有する。本発
明の特徴は支持壁6を口縁壁4aより僅かに下方
へ突出するよう、且つ口縁壁4aより外側の下フ
ランジ基部に設け、支持壁6と口縁壁4aの間に
生じる溝7を、ハブ2とフランジ5に跨がり、し
かもハブ外周壁22と対称に開口し得るようにす
ると共に、溝深さHを支持壁6の突出高さhより
深くし、溝底7aを外周又は内周に向けて傾斜角
5〜20度の範囲で下降傾斜する。リール本体1の
ハブ2に取付ける上フランジ8は従来と同様に、
中央部にハブ軸受部12の端面2aより突出する
突起13の挿入孔18を設け、挿入孔18より突
出した突起13の先部を押潰し、下フランジ5と
相対するように固定する。ハブ2のクランプ穴3
に嵌合係止するクランプピース9は従来と同様
に、ピース9の表面9aがハブ外周壁22と同一
曲率を成し、ピース9の裏側にクランプ穴3と弾
力的に係止する脚片19を有している。 本発明テープリールのリール本体1は上記構造
であるから、リール本体1に合せて雄金型Dを形

り、寸法の安定したリール本体が得られる。しか
も樹脂の充填速度や充填温度、或は金型温度等を
僅かに調整すれば、高精度のリール本体を提供し
得るばかりか、その調整も至つて簡単容易であ
る。又本発明は雄金型を僅かに改良するだけで実
施できて、しかもテープリールの組立も従来通り
に成し得るばかりか、下フランジの反り差が従来
リールに比較して半減するし、下フランジの反り
による不良品率、即ちリール本体の歩止まりも著
しく向上する等、本発明は高精度化するVTR用
のテープリールやオーデイオ用テープリールとし
て、実用面に有益な効果を奏するものである。
