Conventionally, molded products made of elastic materials, such as bearing seals or oil seals, have caused various problems when stacked or packaged because they adhere to each other and cause blocking. For this reason, post-treatment to prevent adhesion is required, and countermeasures have been taken by applying a surface treatment liquid or chemically changing the surface with chemicals.

However, in the former method of applying surface treatment liquids, surface treatment liquids obtained by dissolving silicone oil and surfactants in organic solvents, or emulsion-type silicone oil-based surface treatment liquids are used more as aesthetic treatments than as anti-blocking agents. Even if they were effective as agents, they had drawbacks such as not only being unable to sufficiently suppress the adhesive force, but also causing the surface of the elastic body to leak due to liquid components such as silicone oil, causing poor appearance. The latter type of chemical treatment chemically treats the surface, such as by halogenating diene rubber, to lower the coefficient of friction and harden only the surface to prevent blocking. In order to obtain surface roughness and surface hardening, there remain very difficult problems in adjusting the chemical blend ratio and processing time, and it is also expensive, and there are many problems such as residual halogens that can lead to rust in composite products containing metal. It had drawbacks.

The present invention uses an n-paraffin emulsion of 0.5~
A mixture of 5.0 parts by weight and 0.5 to 3.0 parts by weight of a silicone emulsion is mixed with 0.5 to 5.0 parts of a water-soluble silane coupling agent alone or in combination.
This is a surface treatment liquid for rubber, etc., in which part by weight is added.
Here, the silane capping agents are vinylethoxysilane [CH2=CHSi(OC2H5)3], vinyltrimethoxylane [CH2=CHSi(OCH3)3], N-β(aminoethyl)α-aminopropyltrimethoxysilane [H2NC2H4NHC3H6Si( OCH3)3], N-β

When using the surface treatment liquid of the present invention, the vulcanized rubber is immersed in the surface treatment liquid and then dried at 120 DEG C. to 180 DEG C. for more than ten minutes, during which time the silane coupling agent chemically heat-cures.

However, if the drying time is too short, sufficient curing will not occur, making it impossible to obtain satisfactory blocking resistance. Also, if it is too long, the vulcanized rubber will deteriorate, which is undesirable, so the time should be determined depending on the application conditions.

A cured film of the silane coupling agent is thus present on the surface of the vulcanized rubber after drying. This is not a uniform film, but a silicone film covers the space between them, and n-paraffin wax is scattered on top of the silicone film.

At the same time, the presence of the cured film of the silane coupling agent itself has the effect of preventing direct contact between vulcanized rubbers. As a result, the blocking resistance is significantly improved.

In addition to stacking 100 pieces of vulcanized rubber that had not been coated with the surface treatment liquid, we also stacked 100 pieces of vulcanized rubber that had not been coated with the surface treatment liquid and left them in an atmosphere at 40°C for 7 days to compare their blocking resistance. No blocking occurred in any of the vulcanized rubber pieces, and blocking was observed in almost all of the untreated vulcanized rubber pieces, with blocking being particularly noticeable in half of the pieces.

As described above, by applying the surface treatment liquid of the present invention to the surface of rubber, etc., the anti-blocking property is greatly improved, the sliding property is also improved, and the ideal surface is obtained which solves the problems of poor appearance and rust. It provides a processing liquid. This surface treatment liquid is widely applied not only to bearing seals and oil seals, but also to other products such as rubber where blocking is a problem, and its range of use is wide.
