Conventionally, automatic teller machines that recycle deposited banknotes for withdrawal within the device store a recycling box for recirculating banknotes, a banknote cassette for loading and collecting banknotes, and a banknote cassette for storing banknotes for withdrawal. Having separate storage boxes for each denomination increases the banknote conveyance path and takes a long time to convey the banknotes, making it more likely that banknotes will jam.Additionally, as the number of storage boxes for each denomination increases, the number of gates increases, making control difficult. The process became complicated and became a factor lowering reliability.

When the banknotes pass through the banknote discrimination box 4, two modes of banknote dispensing, ie, dispensing with the denominations aligned or dispensing in the order of discrimination without aligning the denominations, are designated by a preset changeover switch circuit 42. That is, when a switch is connected to S0-S1 in the changeover switch circuit 42, the output signal of the circuit becomes a true value and the denominations are aligned and discharged, and when a switch is connected to S0-S2, the output signal of the circuit becomes a false value and the denomination is determined. It is specified to emit without aligning them.

As explained above, according to the present invention, operations such as loading banknotes into the device before starting a transaction, collecting banknotes in the device at the end of a transaction, storing deposited banknotes, and dispensing out paid banknotes can be performed using a single banknote recycling box. Since unfit bills among deposited bills and bills of denominations other than those for withdrawal can be stored in the designated bill cassette, the conveyance path can be shortened and jammed bills can be easily removed. This has the effect of being able to store banknotes that cannot be recycled separately, which improves the reliability of the entire device. Also, since there are two banknote dispensing modes, banknotes that cannot be recycled can be stored separately, and banknotes can be adjusted according to the usage status of the automatic cash transaction device. The effect of being able to select the withdrawal mode can be obtained.
