[Background of the Invention] According to the automatic washing machine disclosed in Japanese Patent Publication No. 48-21274, it is equipped with a strong/weak water flow selection switch, and when the water flow is strong, the reversal period of the rotor blade is long, and when the water flow is weak, the rest time is long. When washing the clothes, the gentle water flow switch is set so that it runs in strong water flow for a predetermined amount of time at the beginning, and then automatically switches to weak water flow. With this conventional technology, at the beginning of the washing process, weak water flow causes poor movement of the cloth, so strong water flow is used to agitate until the cloth is well soaked in water, and then the weak water flow is automatically changed. It is not a solution to problems such as uneven cloth or tangled cloth.

The present invention provides a washing method for a fully automatic washing machine, including:
During the washing process, where clothes are agitated for a long time, as a method to prevent the fabric from shifting or getting tangled, the rotary blades are rotated for a few minutes during the washing process for a shorter time than the normal rotation time, and then the rotation is reversed again. The periodic stirring was repeated once or several times.

FIG. 1 is a longitudinal sectional view of a washing machine, in which an outer tub 3 is suspended by four hanging rods 2 inside an outer frame 1 of the main body. An inner tank 4 is attached inside the outer tank 3. A rotary blade 6 is provided at the center of the bottom of the inner tub 4, and the rotary blade 6 rotates forward and reverse at a predetermined cycle during washing to agitate the clothes and wash the clothes. The rotary blade 6 is rotated by a motor 7 via a V-belt 8 and a clutch 9. In the clutch 9, the inner tank 4 is rotated in one direction during dehydration, and the moisture contained in the clothes is drained into the dehydration hole 1.
Centrifugal dehydration is performed from zero, and during washing, only the rotary blade 6 is rotated in forward and reverse directions at a predetermined period.

In the cycle table shown in Figure 4, for 5 minutes from the start of the washing process indicated as "wash",
Motor M is connected to the power supply via the B contact of cam switch C2 , the A contact of cam switch C4 , and cam switch S1 , so it rotates normally when cam switch S1 is on the A contact side, and rotates normally when the cam switch S1 is on the B contact side. Sometimes it will reverse, so 1.5 seconds forward rotation - 0.5 seconds pause - 1.5 seconds reverse rotation -
Repeat the cycle of 0.5 seconds pause. In other words, forward and reverse rotation is performed every 1.5 seconds with a 0.5 second pause in between.

When the washing process is about half way through, the cam switch will turn on.
Since C4 enters the b contact, the motor M is connected to the power supply via the cam switch S3 . cam switch
S 3 has a shorter period than cam switch S 1 , i.e.
Since it enters the a side for 0.6 seconds, pauses for 0.5 seconds, and enters the b side for 0.6 seconds, the motor M repeats forward and reverse rotation every 0.6 seconds with a pause of 0.5 seconds in between. When the rotary blade 6 rotates forward and reverse at a short cycle of 1 minute, the cam switch C4 enters the a side again, so that washing is performed by rotating forward and reverse at a steady cycle of 1.5 seconds.

In this way, agitation with a short reverse cycle at the halfway point of the washing process will loosen the tangles in the fabric.
The probability that the blades will rotate together with the rotary blades while remaining tangled is reduced, resulting in less uneven cleaning and less tangled cloth.

According to experiments conducted by the present inventors, it is better to perform agitation with a shorter reversal cycle for 1 minute at the midpoint of the washing process and 1 minute shorter near the end than to perform agitation with a short reversal cycle for 2 minutes before the end of the washing process. The results showed that there was less cloth entanglement. In addition, because there was less tangle in the fabric, there was less uneven washing, and there was less unevenness of the fabric during dehydration after the washing process.Agitation with a short reversal cycle was not limited to the midpoint, but was performed several times during the washing process. Also good.
