The present invention has been developed to develop a retaining wall block that is lightweight and highly functional as a retaining wall, aiming at cantilever type retaining walls made of integrally reinforced concrete, buttress walls, and supporting walls. A representative example of a conventional product suitable for comparison and contrast with the present invention is shown in FIG. 5, and its structure and method of use will be explained.

As shown in Fig. 5, the structure of the block conventionally used as the main retaining wall is that the front part 30 is a horizontally long rectangle, and the two retaining parts 3 are perpendicular to this.
1, 31, and the reinforcing bar insertion hole 32 is connected to the retaining part 31,
31, and one location each near the center of the front portion 30 where the two retaining portions 31, 31 are located.

This block is a "cut stone masonry" shown in Figure 6.
It is used by adopting a stacking method called . That is, the reinforcing bars 35 of the upper and lower blocks are placed in a position where they correspond to each other, and the upper and lower blocks are half aligned (the state shown in the figure), and then the reinforcing bars 35 are inserted into the series of reinforcing bar insertion holes 32. The blocks are inserted and the gap between the reinforcing bar insertion hole 32 and the reinforcing bar 35 is filled with mortar to integrate the blocks.

<Problems to be Solved by the Invention> The retaining wall formed as described above is in the form of a retaining wall made of integrally reinforced concrete. However, since the spacing between the retaining parts 31, 31 is narrow, the weight of the retaining part 31 itself per fixed retaining wall area is unnecessarily large, and the weight of the block cannot be reduced sufficiently. In addition, the thickness of the retaining portions 31, 31 is limited, and large reinforcing bar insertion holes 32 cannot be provided at key locations and in the required number, resulting in an insufficient amount of reinforcing bars to be inserted, forcing the stacking slope to be made gentler. , built as a leaning wall. This limits the stacking height to a small amount, and the performance of these blocks is far inferior to that of monolithic reinforced concrete construction.

Furthermore, inserting reinforcing bars into small holes and filling the gaps with mortar as described above not only requires time and effort, but also makes it difficult to completely fill the gaps and perform complete construction.

In addition to these problems, in the above-mentioned cut-stone block stacking method shown in Figure 6, the two reinforcing bars that pass through one block are connected to two reinforcing bars that meet halfway above or below the block. This meant that one line penetrated each block, and the left and right sides had to be straight, making it unsuitable for curved construction.

These various problems were also present in the above-mentioned block, which was conventionally considered to have high performance, so we developed a block with even higher performance, which is almost like a straight wall and can be stacked up to a high height, and which can be constructed with curves. There was a strong demand for a retaining wall block that could be used.

<Function> The retaining wall block of the present invention can be rigidly connected to each other by bolting, and prestress can also be introduced into the retaining part 2, so that the retaining wall block of the present invention has strength comparable to that of a cantilever beam made of reinforced concrete. The same effect as a retaining wall can be obtained. In addition, since the plane is asymmetrical T-shaped, it can be used even on curved surfaces.
It can be used as a retaining wall.

The retaining wall block of the present invention is characterized by:
As shown in these figures, the block has a retaining part 2 that is almost perpendicular to the front part 1, and these planes form an asymmetric T-shape, and there are one to several strips on both sides of the retaining part 2. Longitudinal grooves 3, 3 (two grooves in the figure) are formed, a depression 4 is bored near the middle of the longitudinal grooves 3, 3, and bolt-fastening washers 5, 5.
As is clear from the figure, the washers 5, 5 are located in the vertical grooves 3, 3.
A notch corresponding to the cross-sectional shape is provided.

In the embodiment of the present invention, as shown in FIG. 2, the washers 5, 5 are connected by the side plates 6, 6 on both sides, and at the same time, these form the peripheral wall of the recess 4 necessary for tightening the bolt. There is. If necessary, it is a good idea to provide a backing plate for the back side. Both upper and lower edges of the contact side plates 6, 6 are formed into protruding convex edges 7, 7 so that the left and right edges of the washers 5, 5 come into contact with each other.

The backing side plate 6 and the washer 5 are attached to both the top and bottom surfaces and both the left and right sides of the recess 4, and the state shown in FIG. 1 is obtained, that is, the state in which the upper and lower blocks are shifted into an asymmetrical T-shape. Connect them in reverse (for "hewn masonry") and connect the washer 5 below the recess 4 of the upper block to the recess 4 of the lower block.
Attach one bolt 8 to the upper washer 5 of the vertical groove 3.
Pass it through and tighten it with a nut. This bolt 8 is tightened to the adjacent vertical groove 3 and to the two vertical grooves 3, 3 on the opposite side to rigidly connect the upper and lower blocks. In addition to connecting vertically adjacent blocks to each other, it is also possible to interpose a block having only longitudinal grooves 3 and 3 without a recess 4,
It is also possible to clamp the upper and lower blocks together by tightening bolts.

After tightening the bolts, the upper and lower recesses 4, 4 and the vertical grooves 3, 3 between them are filled with rust-preventing mortar for the bolts to rust-proof the washers 5, 5, side plates 6, 6, bolts, and nuts. . In this case, the process of filling the anti-corrosion mortar is more difficult than the conventional work of filling mortar into the gap between the small hole and the reinforcing bar.In particular, the vertical groove 3 is a groove and the bolt 8 is exposed. It is extremely easy to do. By repeating this method upward one after another, a retaining wall in which the blocks are rigidly connected is completed.

The retaining wall block of the present invention has a horizontally asymmetrical T.
Since it is a letter shape, if the upper and lower blocks are alternately reversed left and right and piled up, it can be made into "cut stone masonry" as shown in Fig. 4. Furthermore, as in the conventional technique shown in Fig. 6, it can be stacked on a curved surface. This is not unsuitable, and a retaining wall with a desired curved surface can be created.

In the example detailed above, the washers 5, 5 had a structure in which notches were provided to match the vertical grooves 3, 3,
This notch can be changed to a round hole like a normal washer. If a round hole is used, instead of the bolt 8 with a head shown in FIG. 2, a bolt with threaded ends may be used and inserted from above along the vertical grooves 3.

<Effects of the Invention> Since the retaining wall blocks of the present invention described in detail above rigidly connect the blocks to each other by tightening bolts, it is not necessary to use a large amount of concrete, etc. in the conventional "drilling" process. It is economical and easy to work with, requiring no effort. Furthermore, the rigid connection force generated by tightening the bolts makes it possible to construct a retaining wall that is comparable to a monolithic reinforced concrete structure with sufficient reinforcement in terms of weight stacking height, stacking slope, and strength. In addition to these beneficial features, the present invention provides an epoch-making retaining wall block that can be constructed in curves as well as in "hewn stone masonry".
