Sugar is eluted into this water and reabsorbed in a short period of time, so it is a necessary condition for cooking delicious rice that the first polishing liquid should be drained away as soon as possible. However, it was difficult to drain the polishing liquid in a short period of time.

If the rice grains are carried to the rice feeding hole during this suction of outside air, they will be suctioned at an accelerated rate. The accelerated rice grains enter the inner surface of the inner cylinder of the rice grinding body from a tangential direction, and come into contact with the many flexible protrusions provided on the inner wall of the rice grinding body. At this time, the rice grains roll due to surface friction or clamping of the flexible protrusions. At this time, the rice polishing body breaks down the rice bran, rice powder, dirt, etc. (hereinafter referred to as bran, etc.) adhering to the rice surface and separates it from the rice. On the other hand, rice grains weigh about 20 mg, so they descend in a spiral pattern. On the other hand, since the bran etc. have become fine and powdered, they fly out from the discharge port along with the turbulent air flow inside the polished rice body. As a result, bran etc. are separated and discharged from the surface of the rice. The rice is purified and can be made into polished rice that can be cooked without water purification.

The flexible protrusion 16 is made of animal hair, soft resin such as nylon hair, rubber, a brush, or the like. The rice polishing body 17 is held by an outer cylinder 18. The inner peripheral surface of the rice feeding hole 15 is provided so as to be tangent to the surface of the flexible protrusion 16.

The container 21 for receiving rice is fitted into the lower opening of the outer cylinder 19. This container 21 may be considered as a pot of a rice cooker. Reference numeral 22 in the figure indicates rice grains sucked through the rice feeding hole. 22a is the flexible protrusion 1
This is polished rice that has been collided with and rolled on the surface of rice to create a spiral pattern and to clean the surface of the rice bran. Reference numeral 23 indicates rice bran or the like that is separated and discharged from the discharge port.

This takes advantage of the fact that when rice grains are circulated inside a cyclone, there is a difference in mass between the rice grains and the mass of the rice bran, so the rice grains fall due to inertia, and the rice bran mixes with the gas and separates. In order to promote this separation, the elastic force of the flexible protrusion 16 is used to
The entire rice grain is brought into soft contact, while the bran on the surface of the rice grain is peeled off by the impact force of the tip.

Since no rice was used, the rice was almost completely free from bran odor, and it was confirmed that the rice polishing apparatus of the present invention could be put to practical use.

Polished rice can be cleaned with waterless washing, and since there is no cracking when the rice is submerged in water during polishing, it is possible to prevent the polished rice from being crushed, and it is also effective in saving water and preventing rice bran odor when cooking rice. In addition, the polished rice grains fall downward, and the bran generated during the polishing is led to the discharge port, so there is no need to provide a sorting mechanism to separate the rice grains and bran after the rice is polished, making the equipment smaller and lighter. can be achieved.
