Conventionally, foam sheets such as foamed polyethylene, foamed polyurethane, and foamed rubber have been used as base materials for lightweight floors to reduce the sound generated by impact.

However, when these foam sheets alone are thick enough to prevent impact noise, they not only cause large local dents but also give people a shaking sensation.
There were aspects that harmed livability.

Soft or foamed synthetic resin sheet 3 with a thickness of 0.5 to 3 mm
By using a base material made of sequentially laminated layers, we succeeded in solving all the problems of the conventional method at once.

By combining the palm wood with rubber as a binder and the other two layers, it provides just the right amount of elasticity, absorbs shock, and provides a stable livability.

というような問題が生ずる。 As a soft or foamed synthetic resin sheet, one with a surface hardness (Shore D hardness) of 20 to 50, especially 30 to 40, and a thickness of 0.5 to 3 mm, especially 1.0 to 2.0, is used, but even if these are a single layer, , it may have multiple layers, and the back side may be lined with a fiber layer.
In any case, it is necessary to select a sheet with a value of 20 to 50 when the surface hardness (Shorer D hardness) of the entire sheet is measured. If this is too small, it may cause local dents or deteriorate livability.
Moreover, if it is too large, it will not function as a sound generation prevention layer. Regarding the thickness, if the thickness is less than 0.5 mm, the sound insulation or sound absorption effect to reduce the sound generated by impact will be insufficient, while if it is 3 mm or more, the sound insulation or sound absorption effect will be satisfactory, but the thickness of the entire floor will be insufficient. Not only does this increase the walking sensation, but it also causes problems such as fixtures and the like becoming more likely to sink or tilt.

A palm material 1 with a thickness of 5 mm obtained by molding palm fiber into a plate shape using natural rubber latex so that the ratio of palm fiber and rubber is 6:4 is formed using a rubber-based adhesive to create a thickness of 5 mm. A base material was obtained by laminating a 3 mm plywood board 2 and a fiber-reinforced soft polyvinyl chloride sheet 3 with a surface hardness of 40 and a thickness of 1.5 mm on top of the plywood board 2 using a urethane adhesive.
