Description
発明の分野
本発明は香味の変化する顆粒状歯磨組成物、さ
らに詳しくは、香味の変化により使用者が適正な
使用時間を認識できる顆粒状歯磨組成物に関す
る。
従来技術
歯磨組成物は本来充分な口腔清浄あるいは各種
疾患予防等の機能を有しているにもかかわらず、
使用が不適切、特に、使用時間が充分でないた
め、その本来の効果を発揮しえないことがしばし
ばある。このような、歯磨組成物の不充分な使用
をさけるため、色の変化あるいは泡量の変化によ
り、その適正な使用時間を知らせる歯磨組成物が
すでに提案されている。
しかし、このような歯磨組成物においては、色
調や泡量の変化の度合、変化に要する時間あるい
は用いる色素の安全性などの点で、なかなか満足
するものは見当たらない。その上、色調変化によ
るものは、使用時間が充分であるかどうかを知る
ために、使用を中断して確認を繰返す動作を行な
う必要があつたり、泡量の変化によるものでは、
消泡により使用意欲が減退するという欠点があ
る。
本発明者らは、このような欠点を解消した、使
用者に適正な使用時間を明確に示すことのできる
歯磨組成物を得るべく鋭意検討を重ねた。その結
果、香料を包接したシクロデキストリンを顆粒化
し、これをある種のコーテイング物質で被覆して
得られる顆粒を、顆粒状歯磨ベースと組合わせる
ことにより、目的とする歯磨組成物が得られるこ
とを見出し、本発明を完成するにいたつた。
発明の開示
本発明は、セラツク、グリセリン脂肪酸エステ
ルおよび賦形剤からなるコーテイング物質で被覆
した香料包接シクロデキストリン顆粒と、顆粒状
歯磨ベースを混合してなる香味の変化する顆粒状
歯磨組成物を提供するものである。本発明の歯磨
組成物においては、使用中、一定時間後、例え
ば、少なくとも60秒後に、香料包接シクロデキス
トリン顆粒から香料が放出され、香味が変化し、
それにより、適正な使用時間の経過が表示され、
使用を中断して確認を繰返す必要もなく、また、
消包により使用意欲が減退するなどの欠点もな
い。
本発明の歯磨組成物における香料包接シクロデ
キストリン顆粒は、香料を包接したシクロデキス
トリンを顆粒化し、これを該コーテイング物質で
被覆したものである。
香料は特に限定するものではなく、本発明の目
的に適するものいずれでもよく、例えば、シンナ
モンオイル、クローブオイル、キヤラウエイオイ
ル、ペパーミントオイル、スペアミントオイル、
コリアンダーオイル、ローズマリーオイル、ユー
カリオイル、カルダモンオイル、アニスオイル、
オレンジオイル、レモンオイル、シダーウツドオ
イル、ゼラニウムオイル、ライムオイル、メース
オイル、ベルガモツトオイル、ジヤスミンオイ
ル、ラベンダーオイル、ワインリースオイル、セ
ージオイル、タイムオイル、ローレルオイルなど
の天然精油類、メントール、ベンジルアルコー
ル、エチルアルコール、シネオール、フエニルプ
ロピルアルコール、ブチルアルコール、イソプロ
ピルアルコール、ボルネオール、フエネチルアル
コール、リナロール、プロピレングリコール、ゲ
ラニオール、α−テルピネオール、フエネチルア
ルコール、ヘキサノール、オクチルアルコール、
プロピルアルコールなどのアルコール類、シンナ
ミツクアルデヒド、ベンズアルデヒド、ブタナー
ル、アニスアルデヒド、オクタナール、デカナー
ル、2−メチルウンデカナール、trans−2−ヘ

ン、リナロールオキサイド、γ−デカラクトン、
リモネン、アネトール、シトラールジエチルアセ
タール、ローズオキサイド、1,8−シオネー
ル、2−メチルピラジン、γ−ヘプチルブチロラ
クトン、γ−アミルブチロラクトン、ヘキサン酸
アリル、メチルフエニルグリシド酸エチルなどが
包含される。
これらの香料の包接に用いるシクロデキストリ
ンは、通常、β−シクロデキストリンであるが、
α−またはγ−シクロデキストリンも使用でき
る。シクロデキストリンによる香料の包接は公知
の方法に従つて行なうことができ、例えば、シク
ロデキストリンと香料の混合物に水を加え、一昼
夜振とう後、固形物を濾取し、乾燥すればよく、
シクロデキストリンと香料の割合は適宜選択でき
るが、通常、β−シクロデキストリン100重量部
に対し、香料5〜30重量部程度が適当である。
香料を包接したシクロデキストリンは粉末であ
り、本発明においては、結合剤あるいは結合剤と
賦形剤を用い、常法により、コーテイング物質で
被覆できる粒径(平均粒径約0.1mm以上)の顆粒
状に造粒する。用いる結合剤、賦形剤は通常のも
のでよく、例えば、結合剤としては、ヒドロキシ
エチルセルロース、ヒドロキシプロピルメチルセ
ルロース、メチルセルロース、エチルセルロー
ス、カルボキシメチルセルロースナトリウム、ポ
リビニルピロリドン、ポリビニルアルコール、ポ
リビニルアセテート、ポリエチレングリコール、
澱粉類、デキストリン、アラビアガム、トラガン
トガム、グアガム、カラギーナン、アルギン酸ナ
トリウム、ゼラチン、グルテンなどが挙げられ
る。賦形剤としては、ソルビツト、乳糖などの糖
類、トウモロコシ澱粉、バレイシヨ澱粉などの澱
粉類、硫酸カルシウム、無水ケイ酸、リン酸カル
シウムなどが挙げられる。これらの結合剤、賦形
剤は、いずれも、単独でも2種以上併用してもよ
く、その使用量は特に限定するものではないが、
通常、香料包接デキストリン100重量部に対し、
合計で10〜500重量部程度である。
被覆に用いるコーテイング物質は、基本的に、
セラツク、グリセリン脂肪酸エステルおよび賦形
剤の混合物である。セラツク、は精製セラツク白
色セラツクのいずれでもよい。グリセリン脂肪酸
エステルとしては、グリセリルモノステアレー
ト、グリセリルモノオレエート、グリセリルジス
テアレート、グリセリルジオレエートおよびこれ
らの混合物などが挙げられる。また、賦形剤とし
ては、前記の香料包接シクロデキストリンの顆粒
化において例示したと同様なものが挙げられ、単
独でも、2種以上併用してもよい。使用者に適正
な使用時間、例えば、60秒以上の使用時間を認識
させるために、好ましくは、コーテイング物質に
おけるセラツク:グリセリン脂肪酸エステル:賦
形剤の重量比を10:0.1〜4.0:10〜30とする。グ
リセリン脂肪酸エステルのセラツクに対する割合
がこれにより多くなると、歯磨時に包接香料の放
出が早くなりすぎ、一方、少なくなると、顆粒の
ケーキングが生じ、また、通常のブラツシングで
は崩壊し得ない強固な顆粒となるので、前記の割
合が好ましい。また、賦形剤のセラツクに対する
割合が前記範囲より多くなると、コーテイング物
質による被覆が非常にもろくなり、歯磨時のブラ
ツシングで直ちに崩壊して包接香料を放出する顆
粒となり、一方、少なくなると、顆粒からの香料
放出が非常に緩慢で、香味の変化が不明瞭とな
り、本発明の目的には適さなくなるので、前記の
割合が好ましい。所望により、コーテイング物質
は、着色量などの他の添加剤を適当量含有しても
よい。
香料包接シクロデキストリン顆粒のコーテイン
グ物質による被覆は常法に従つて行なうことがで
き、例えば、セラツクとグリセリン脂肪酸エステ
ルの適当濃度のエタノール溶液を30〜40℃で該顆
粒に噴霧しながら、同時に、適当量の賦形剤を添
加して被覆を行ない、噴霧終了後、50℃で乾燥す
ると所望の被覆された顆粒が得られる。被覆する
コーテイング物質の厚さも包接香料の放出、すな
わち、適正な使用時間の認識に影響を及ぼすもの
で、得られた被覆顆粒全量に基づくコーテイング
物質の割合が10〜40重量%となるような厚さにす
ることが好ましい。コーテイング物質の厚さが薄
すぎると、均一な被覆が行なえず、薄いところが
すぐに崩壊し、包接香料の放出が早くなりすぎ、
一方、厚すぎると、所定の時間に包接香料の放出
が起こらない。なお、被覆した香料包接シクロデ
キストリン顆粒の粒径は平均粒径0.7mm以下が好
ましく、0.7mmを超えると口腔内で異物感を生じ
やすくなる。
本発明の歯磨組成物は、かくして得られた被覆
顆粒を顆粒状歯磨ベースと混合してなる。
顆粒状歯磨ベースは、通常の歯磨組成物に用い
られる成分を、前記のごとき結合剤や賦形剤を用
い、常法により造粒した、例えば、平均粒径0.3
〜1.0mmの顆粒である。これらの成分としては、
炭酸カルシウム、第二リン酸カルシウム(二水

の歯磨組成物に準じて適宜選択することができ
る。
被覆した香料包接シクロデキストリン顆粒と顆
粒状歯磨ベースの混合割合は特に限定するもので
はなく、口腔内で放出される包接香料の濃度が閾
値以上となる割合で任意に混合することができ
る。通常、顆粒状歯磨ベース:被覆包接香料顆粒
の重量比が10:0.5〜3が好ましい。
実施例
つぎに参考例および実施例を挙げて本発明をさ
らに詳しく説明する。なお、「部」とあるのは、
いずれも重量部を意味する。
参考例 1
つぎの処方に従つて香料を調整した。

℃で、セラツク7.5部、グリセリルモノステアレ
ート0.75部(エタノール50容量部中溶液として使
用)およびトウモロコシ澱粉15部で被覆し、平均
粒径0.30〜0.59mmの被覆した香料包接シクロデキ
ストリン顆粒(コーテイング物質含量23.25%、
セラツク:グリセリン脂肪酸エステル:賦形剤=
10:1:20)を得た。

There is a drawback that defoaming reduces the desire to use the product. The present inventors have conducted extensive studies in order to obtain a dentifrice composition that eliminates these drawbacks and can clearly indicate the appropriate usage time to the user. As a result, the desired dentifrice composition can be obtained by granulating cyclodextrin containing a flavoring agent and combining the granules obtained by coating the cyclodextrin with a certain kind of coating substance with a granular dentifrice base. They discovered this and completed the present invention. DISCLOSURE OF THE INVENTION The present invention provides a granular dentifrice composition with variable flavor, which is prepared by mixing flavor-inclusive cyclodextrin granules coated with a coating material consisting of shellac, glycerin fatty acid ester, and an excipient, and a granular dentifrice base.
