DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION The present invention relates to a powdered paint composition, and more specifically, it is an object of the present invention to obtain a powdered paint composition that becomes water resistant after a coating film diluted with water is dried.

Such conventional compositions are composed of pigments, water-soluble polymers, etc., and are dissolved in water and adjusted to a paste-like paint of a desired viscosity before use. However, since the coating film is not water resistant, it re-dissolves when exposed to water and stains the coating surface, making it unsuitable for use in posters and the like to be displayed outdoors. On the other hand, there are paste-like paints that use acrylic acid ester resin emulsion to make the paint film waterproof after drying, but there is pigment selectivity, and inorganic pigments such as viridian and aureolin, and metal powder pigments such as aluminum powder and brass powder are used. There are drawbacks that make it unusable.

That is, since the pigments of this paint are constantly in contact with moisture during storage, they undergo chemical changes and are prone to discoloration and solidification. This is because, in particular, when metal pigments are used, they have the disadvantage of causing rust.

The present invention eliminates these drawbacks. The pigments used in the present invention include inorganic pigments such as Bengara and titanium oxide, which have been conventionally used in paints, and Hansa Yellow.
Various pigments such as organic pigments such as 10G and Carmine 6B, metal powder pigments such as aluminum powder and brass powder, and other pearl pigments can be used. These pigments may be used alone or as a mixture in an amount of 3 to 80 parts by weight, preferably 5 to 75 parts by weight (hereinafter, parts by weight are simply referred to as parts) based on 100 parts of the composition.

Powdered resin emulsion is simply called powder emulsion, emulsion powder, re-emulsified powder, etc. For example, a resin emulsion such as vinyl acetate is sprayed and dispersed in hot air or under reduced pressure and then quickly dried. It is in the form of a powder having a particle size of about 5 to 100 microns. This powder can be easily redispersed in water, and when the redispersion liquid dries, the coating film is water resistant and has the characteristic of not being redispersed in water.

These emulsions contain 10 parts per 100 parts of the composition.
~70 parts can be used, preferably 20 to 60 parts. If the amount of emulsion is too much, the color development of the paint will be poor, and if it is too little, the water resistance of the paint film and the fixability of the pigment will be poor.

The water-soluble resin used in the present invention is used to provide pigment fixability to the painted surface and to provide viscosity when the composition is diluted with water. Cellulose resins such as methylcellulose, carboxymethylcellulose, hydroxyethylcellulose, and hydroxypropylcellulose, polyvinyl alcohol,
Various water-soluble polymers can be used, such as vinyl-based synthetic resins such as polyvinylpyrrolidone, modified starches such as dextrin and enzyme dextrin, and natural polymers such as gum arabic. Among these, methylcellulose, carboxymethylcellulose, hydroxypropylcellulose, polyvinylpyrrolidone, dextrin, enzyme dextrin, etc. can be preferably used.
These water-soluble polymers are 0.5 to 100 parts of the composition.
25 parts can be used, preferably 1 to 20 parts. If the amount of water-soluble polymer is too low, the paint will lose its viscosity when diluted with water, and if it is in excess, the water resistance of the paint film will be poor.

In addition, in the present invention, when diluting the composition with water if necessary, in order to improve the water wettability and dispersibility of the pigment, nonionic materials such as polyethylene glycol alkyl ether, sorbitan ester ether, etc., which have been conventionally used in paints, or Anionic surfactants such as naphthalene sulfonic acid soda formalin condensate and alkylbenzenesulfonic acid can be used, but among these, those having an HLB of 8 to 18 are preferable. The surfactant can be used in an amount of 0 to 2.0 parts, preferably 0.2 to 1.5 parts, based on 100 parts of the composition. If the activator is used in excess, the water resistance of the coating film will be poor and its penetration into the coating surface will be rapid.

Next, a solution of a surfactant dissolved or dispersed by heating in alcohol is added and thoroughly mixed, and then a predetermined amount of a powdered resin emulsion and a water-soluble resin are added and mixed again. The resulting mixture is crushed in a crusher etc. for 50 min.
Grind it to about 150 mesh pieces and use it as powder paint. Alternatively, the powdered paint composition of the present invention is granulated using a granulator to obtain a granular paint.

If the composition obtained according to the present invention is stored in an airtight container such as a bottle, it will not come into contact with water during storage, so there is no risk of discoloration, solidification, or rust due to chemical changes, and it can be used with various pigments. The composition of the present invention can also be used as paint for posters displayed outdoors, since a coating film obtained by diluting the composition of the present invention with water exhibits strong water resistance after drying. Also, the coating film will not change color, solidify or rust as during storage.

The obtained composition was stored in a sealed container and left in a constant temperature and humidity chamber at a room temperature of 40 degrees Celsius and a humidity of 80% for one week. When the composition was checked, there was no phenomenon such as discoloration or solidification, indicating good storage stability. The resulting composition was diluted with water in a brush and applied to drawing paper. Next, the applied coating film was left indoors to air dry, and then immersed in water, but the coating showed good water resistance without being redispersed.
