〔産業上の利用分野〕
本発明は、球技例えば野球・ソフトボール等に
用いられるボールに関し、具体的には該ボールの

のボール芯Aであつて、図面の様に前記ボール芯
Aを、合成ゴム1と適度の粒度のコルク粒2と金
属ポリアクリル酸モノマー3及びメラミン樹脂あ
るいはフエノール樹脂等の熱硬化性樹脂4とを混
合し、加熱加圧して前記官能基を有する金属ポリ
アクリル酸モノマー3を前記熱硬化性樹脂4と化
学反応させ、3次元構造を形成して所望の形状の

を形成する極細気泡によつて粒度の大小に拘らず
持てる特性をそのまま発揮し良好な反発力を与え
ながら全体の密度を大きく下げる作用をなす。官
能基を有する金属ポリアクリル酸モノマー3の代
表的なものとして、
(M:2価金属)があり、
Mには、Zn、Mg、Pb、Nd等が用いられる。ま
た、熱硬化性樹脂4においてはその耐久性を左右
する程重要なものであつて、これの配合量によつ

化学反応させ3次元構造を形成せしめたことを特
