In general, a cross-flow type cooling tower has a structure in which outside air is taken in from the side of the filling material, so that the filling material can be relatively easily loaded and removed from the air intake port. However, in the case of a counterflow type cooling tower, the outside air is taken in from below the filling material, so the sides of the filling material are covered by the casing of the cooling tower.
The outline is shown in FIG. The counterflow type cooling tower 50 has a filling material 5 in the casing 51.
2 is housed, a water sprinkling mechanism 53 is disposed above it, a steam/moisture utilization eliminator 54 is disposed above it, and a suction fan 55 is attached to the upper opening of the casing.

There is also a method of providing an opening in the casing 51 as a means for taking out the filler. However, there are problems such as the complicated structure, which impairs the aesthetic appearance, and the possibility of water leakage. For this reason, when changing the filling material, a method is generally adopted in which the top cover, suction fan, water sprinkling mechanism, and eliminator of the casing are removed. Alternatively, when assembling the casing, the filling material is inserted, which requires skill and effort.

However, in the case of large cooling towers, the suction fan, water spray mechanism, etc. have considerable weight.
There are problems such as the need to assemble and use a crane, etc., and the conversion of the filling material is extremely time-consuming.

In view of this, the present invention aims to facilitate the loading and unloading of the filling material without removing the suction fan, etc. The present invention is characterized by the fact that at least a unit filling member is provided in the center of the filling material. The housings having the same size are removably attached to the unit filling member support frame via the housing support frame so as to be removable downward, and the unit filling members are sequentially pulled into the void formed by removing the housing. The reason is that they are brought together and taken out and carried out downwards.

1 to 3 show a first embodiment. A counterflow type cooling tower (hereinafter simply referred to as a cooling tower) 1 has a filling material 3 loaded into a casing 2 in the same way as the conventional structure (Fig. 7), and above which a water sprinkling mechanism 4 and an eliminator 5 for air/water separation are arranged. Furthermore, a suction fan 6 is attached to the upper opening of the casing. Further, an outside air intake port 7 is opened below the filler storage in the casing 2, and a water tank 8 is provided below. A louver 9 is detachably attached to the outside air intake port 7.

Deploy. This unit filling member 3a has an appropriate shape, and in this embodiment, the long side is the casing 2.
It has a planar rectangular shape with the internal width, and the housing 1
0 has at least the same size as the unit filling member 3a, and consists of left and right side walls 11 and a top plate 12, and is airtightly inserted between the unit filling members. In the figure, 13 is a support frame for the unit filling member 3a, and 14 is a housing support frame, and the housing support frame 14 is detachably attached to the unit filling member support frame 13.

In the above structure, when replacing the filler 3, the louver 9 on one side is removed, the operator enters inside, removes the support frame 14, and pulls out the casing 10 downward. As a result, a void is formed in the center, and since the housing 10 is made to have at least the same size as the unit filling member 3a, the void can receive the unit filling material, and is successively drawn toward the void and downward. Move the drawer outward.

Next, FIGS. 4 to 6 show a second embodiment. In this embodiment, the present invention is applied to a cooling tower that is even larger than the previous example, and the filling material 21 of this cooling tower 20 is divided into a number of unit filling members 21a in the front, back, left, and right directions, and a housing 22 is placed in an appropriate place, for example, in the center. The housing 22
is at least the size of the unit filling member 21a. This casing 22 also consists of a side wall 23 and a top plate 24, as well as a support frame 25, as in the previous example.
The support frame 25 is detachably attached to the unit filling member support frame 26. The rest of the structure is the same as in the previous example, and the same parts are given the same reference numerals and explanations will be omitted.

When converting the unit filling member 21a, the housing 22 is taken out downward in the same manner as in the previous example, thereby forming an air space, and the unit filling member 21a is successively taken out downward using this air space. The conversion procedure is the same as the previous example, so the explanation will be omitted.

According to the present invention, a filling material is constituted by a large number of unit filling members, and a housing having at least the same size as the unit filling members is inserted in the center of the filling material in parallel with the unit filling members, Since this case is taken out downwards, this makes it empty.
is formed, and therefore each unit filling member is sequentially filled with the void 〓
It can be removed from the side and inserted through the outlet of the casing, and there is no need to remove conventional water sprinkling mechanisms or suction fans, etc., and it does not interfere with water spraying or cooling air circulation, that is, uneven flow. This has the effect that the filling material can be easily replaced without causing any problems.
