The tape cassette according to claim 1, characterized in that a locking portion for positioning both legs of the torsion coil spring is provided on the inner surface of the slider. 3. The tape cassette according to claim 1, wherein a position regulating rib is provided to protrude from the inner surface of the slider so that the leg portion of the torsion coil spring can slide. 4. The tape cassette according to claim 1, wherein a rib extending in the width direction is formed near the center of the front end of the slider. 5. The tape cassette according to claim 1, further comprising a plate protruding from the front outer wall of the lower cassette half so that the legs of the torsion coil springs slide.
