(Problem that the invention seeks to solve) When covered with such a translucent plastic sheet cover, it is quite difficult to judge the amount of urine with the naked eye, so it is difficult to judge the amount of urine with the naked eye. Moreover, once the simple fixing cloth and adhesive tape were removed, it could not be firmly fixed the second time.

In order to overcome these drawbacks, a product in which a dye or a PH indicator is printed on the inside surface of a water-impermeable sheet that contacts the urine absorbing member so that the printed pattern disappears due to urine has already been put into practical use. has been done.

However, with this type of product where the printed pattern is erased by moisture such as urine, even a small amount of moisture may leave the pattern to a lighter tone, making it difficult to judge the degree of leakage. There was a defect.

(Means for Solving the Problem) In view of the above, the inventors of the present invention have conducted various studies in order to obtain disposable diapers that develop color when leaked with urine, etc. As a result, the inventors of the present invention have developed a method of adding a small amount of water-soluble dye to a diaper with high water absorption properties. preparing a substantially colorless printing ink dispersed in a molecular substance, a hydrophobic binder and a hydrophobic organic solvent;
As a result of forming a pattern on a plastic sheet using this printing ink, this pattern is almost colorless before it comes into contact with water, etc., but when the patterned area is moistened with water or urine, it develops into a vivid color tone. The present invention was achieved by discovering the following. That is, the present invention provides a disposable diaper comprising a urine-absorbing member and a water-impermeable transparent or translucent sheet in contact with the urine-absorbing member, in which a small amount of water is applied to the surface of the water-impermeable sheet in contact with the urine-absorbing member. This disposable diaper is characterized in that characters, patterns, etc. are provided using printing ink in which a water-soluble dye is dispersed in a water-absorbing polymer, a hydrophobic binder, and a hydrophobic organic solvent.

(Effects) The disposable diaper of the present invention has a pattern printed on the surface in contact with the urine absorbing member using ink mainly containing a water-soluble dye, a water-absorbing polymer, and a hydrophobic binder. This printed pattern develops color only when it comes into contact with urine or the like, and the color of the dye is hardly recognized before it is eluted with urine or the like because the amount of dye is small.

Furthermore, since the water-absorbing polymer is present in the printed pattern, it has good water retention, and even if the dye develops color when it comes into contact with urine, the colored area will not bleed and the printed pattern will not become blurred. Therefore, the degree of urine leakage from the diaper can be easily determined from the outside based on this colored pattern.
