(Prior Art) Conventionally, for example, in the case of an automobile side visor, a joining method involves joining a locking tool for attaching the side visor to the automobile side to a synthetic resin side visor main body having an eaves portion that covers the upper part of a side door. Alternatively, the locking tool may be attached to the synthetic resin side visor body using an adhesive or double-sided tape, or hot melt adhesive, or the locking tool may be attached to the side visor body by riveting or eyelet metal fittings. This is done using a fastening method.

(Problems to be Solved by the Invention) However, according to the above-described conventional bonding methods using adhesives or double-sided tape, not only is the adhesive force between the side visor body and the locking tool weak, but also the bonding force is weak due to heat or sudden impact. There is a problem that the adhesive easily comes off when heat is added to the side visor body, and when hot melt adhesive is used, there is a problem that the side visor main body made of a synthetic resin material loses its shape during heat welding. According to the joining method by caulking the rivets and eyelet metal fittings, it is necessary to specially form mounting holes on the mounting surfaces of the side visor body and the locking tool, and moreover, when crimping the rivets and eyelet metal fittings, it is necessary to form mounting holes respectively. There has been a problem in that the side visor body and the locking tool crack due to processing stress.

(Means for Solving the Problems) Accordingly, the present invention provides a joining method for joining a small article to a synthetic resin product. A joined body 5 having a joint portion 53 having a large number of protrusions 52 protruding from the joint surface is formed of a synthetic resin material, and the holding portion 5 of this joined body 5 is
1 holds the small part 3, the protrusion 52 on the joint surface is brought into contact with the attachment site of the synthetic resin product 2, and then the joined body 5 is heated by a heating means to melt the protrusion 52. Then, the joined body 5 is integrated with the synthetic resin product 2, and the small parts 3 are integrated.
is fixed to the synthetic resin product 2.

(Function) By the above joining method, the small part 3 is joined to the synthetic resin product 2 by welding the joined body 5 to the synthetic resin product 2, and the joined body holds the small part 3 during the joining. By locally heating and melting only a large number of protrusions 52 protruding from the joint surfaces of the parts 5 and 5, the joined body 5 and the synthetic resin product 2 are reliably and firmly integrated without deforming or cracking during welding. This allows the small part 3 to be firmly fixed to the synthetic resin product 2.

After the locking fitting 3 is held in the holding part 51 of the joined body 5 and the protrusion 52 on the joint surface is brought into contact with the attachment part of the side visor main body 2, as shown in FIG. The joined body 5 and the side visor body 2 are held between the sonic poles and applied with ultrasonic waves while being pressurized, and the vibration heats and melts only the protrusion 52 that makes point contact with the mounting surface of the side visor body 2, thereby completing the joining process. The body 5 is integrated with the side visor 2, and the locking metal fittings 3 are fixed to the side visor main body 2.

According to such a joining method, the projections 52 that make point contact with the mounting portion of the side visor body 2 are locally heated and melted by the vibrations caused by the ultrasonic waves, so that the projections 52 other than the projections 52 of the side visor body 2 and the joined body 5 are heated locally and melted. This allows the parts to be reliably and firmly welded together without losing their shape or cracking. Furthermore, unlike when using rivets or eyelet metal fittings, the heads of rivets and eyelet metal fittings do not protrude from the inner side of the ears 22 of the side visor main body 2, so that the upper edge of the window glass 4 This allows the window glass to open and close smoothly without causing any noise or scratches on the window glass.

In the above embodiment, the side visor main body 2 and the joined body 5 are molded from acrylic resin to ensure the fusion of the two and the holding strength of the locking fitting 3. As long as it is a combination of resins that are of the same type and have good fusibility, that is, a combination of synthetic resin materials that can ensure fusibility and retention strength, it may be a combination of other synthetic resin materials, such as acrylic resin. It may be a combination of a side visor main body and a joined body made of polycarbonate.

When joining the small component 3 to the synthetic resin product 2, a bonded body 5 made of a synthetic resin material that holds the small component 3 is used, and the synthetic resin product 2 of the bonded body 5 is
By welding to the synthetic resin product 2, the small part 3 can be fixed to the synthetic resin product 2 through the bonded body 5, regardless of its material, and in addition, the bonded body 5 can be welded to the synthetic resin product 2. When welding,
A large number of protrusions that are easily melted by heating are integrally provided on the joint surface of the joined body 5 to the synthetic resin product 2, and after the protrusions 52 are brought into contact with the attachment site of the synthetic resin product 2, the Since the joined body 5 is heated by a heating means to locally heat and melt only the projections 52, and the joined body 5 is integrated with the synthetic resin product 2, the synthetic resin product 2 and the joined body are integrated. The body 5 can be reliably and firmly integrated without deforming or cracking during the welding, and the small part 5 can be firmly fixed to the synthetic resin product 2.
