容器を該枚葉紙搬送機構の搬送方向に沿い往復自
在に移動させる容器移動機構とを有する画像記録
装置において、 前記複数個の枚葉紙収納容器の内の最下段の枚
葉紙収納容器は、水平面に沿いかつ枚葉紙搬送方
向に対し直角方向に指向した第1摺動手段を介し
て該第1摺動手段の長手方向に沿つて往復動自在
に画像記録装置本体に支持され、該最下段の枚葉
紙収納容器よりも上方の他の枚葉紙収納容器は、
水平面に沿いかつ枚葉紙搬送方向に指向した第2
摺動手段を介して該第2摺動手段の長手方向に沿
つて往復動自在に、それぞれ該他の枚葉紙収納容
器の直下に隣接した枚葉紙収納容器の両側部に支
持され、前記枚葉紙搬送機構は、前記枚葉紙収納
容器の搬出端より枚葉紙搬送方向に向い所定距離
だけ離れた搬入個所と画像記録装置の枚葉紙搬入
端とに亘り架設された枚葉紙固定搬送手段と、該
枚葉紙固定搬送手段の搬入個所近傍を中心として
上下に揺動自在に枢支された枚葉紙揺動搬送手段
とよりなり、該枚葉紙揺動搬送手段は、搬出端が
露出された枚葉紙収納容器内の枚葉紙を送出すロ
ールと、該送出しロールに連動して枚葉紙を前記
枚葉紙固定搬送手段の搬入端に搬送する搬送ベル
トを具備し、前記容器移動機構は前記枚葉紙収納
容器の搬出端と反対側に配設され、該容器移動機
構は、正逆転しうる原動機と、該原動機に伝動機
を介して接続されて前記第2摺動手段の長手方向
に沿い往復動しうる垂直方向に指向した移動ポス
トと、前記最下段の枚葉紙収納容器より上方の他
の各枚葉紙収納容器と前記移動ポストとをそれぞ
れ選択的に結合する結合手段とからなることを特
徴とする枚葉紙収納装置。
