However, in this case, there is a problem in that it is not possible to save labor because the operator is constantly busy. For this reason, in recent years, parking devices employing a parking waiting system have been implemented. However, in the case of a two-level parking system, this system operates in such a way that when the first level is detected to be full, the second level automatically moves to the standby position. They were unable to operate due to glare, and each operated independently.

At the same time, the parking status of each parking device at this time is monitored by sensors, and when the parking rate of the stage in the standby position of all parking devices exceeds the set percentage, some parking devices are activated and the parking device is activated. The present invention relates to an operation control method for a parking device, characterized in that the number of empty stages at the standby position is controlled to a set number by performing a stage switching operation to move the stage to the standby position.

This shows an example of the present invention applied to a case where parking devices 1A, 1B, 1C... are installed in parallel, and each parking device 1A, 1B, 1C... has an upper stage 3 capable of storing three cars 2, respectively. The vehicle is equipped with a lower stage 4, which can be raised and lowered by driving an elevator motor 5 to bring the upper stage 3 or the lower stage 4 into alignment with the traveling road surface 6 (in a parking standby state). In the above, at the time of first acceptance, the stages of all the parking devices 1A, 1B, 1C... are lowered, the lower stage 4 is located in the lower chamber 7 below the traveling road surface 6, and the upper stage 3 is placed in the lower chamber 7 below the traveling road surface 6. The vehicle is in a standby position that corresponds to the .
Further, at the parking position of the car in each of the stages 3 and 4, a sensor 8 for detecting the presence or absence of a car is provided, as in the conventional case, and a sensor 8 for detecting the presence or absence of a car is provided at the parking position of each of the parking devices 1A, 1.
A call button 10 is provided on a support section 9 that partitions B, 1C, . . . by a wall or pillar.

Centralized control is performed while looking sideways at the parking devices 1A, 1C, etc., and the parking status of each parking device 1A, 1B, 1C, etc. is monitored by the detection signal from each sensor 8. When the parking rate at the standby position in 1B, 1C, etc. exceeds the set rate, the required parking device is driven, a stage switching operation is performed to move the empty stage (lower stage 4) to the standby position, and the empty stage is moved to the standby position. The number of is controlled to the set number.

Also, at this time, each parking device 1 is detected by the sensor 8.
The parking status of A, 1B, 1C, etc. has been detected, and the parking display lamp 11 is lit in the parking device with an empty stage. Therefore, the driver parks the vehicle at the parking device where the indicator lamp 11 is lit. In the illustrated case, when three cars are parked on the upper stage 3, the indicator lamp 11 is turned off.

1C... When the parking rate on the upper stage 3 reaches a certain value (for example, 90%), the control device 12 selects some parking devices and drives their elevator motors 5 to move the stage as shown in 1A in the figure. A stage switching operation is performed so that the lower stage (empty stage) 4 is raised to match the traveling road surface 6. At this time, the selection of the number and position of parking devices for stage switching operation is set in advance in the control device 12 based on past statistics on the number of parked cars, the frequency of use depending on the location of the parking devices, etc. More than a set number of empty stages will be on standby, and since the parking devices 1A, 1B, 1C, etc. are operated to switch stages according to a command from the control device 12, the parking devices 1A, 1B, 1C, . . . The unnecessary operation of 1C... is eliminated. Further, the number of parking devices that perform stage switching operation may be sequentially increased depending on the parking situation, with priority given to those in which the upper stage 3 is full. Further, the stage switching operation may be performed automatically, by remote control, or manually.

Also, when taking out the car from the parking device, if the car is in the upper stage 3 at the standby position, press the call button 10 as is, or if the car is in the upper stage due to stage switching operation, press the call button 10 as before. Depart the vehicle by calling the number.
