ロムめつきに対して光沢剤となるものであれば、
酢酸(CH3COOH),ホルムアルデヒド
(HCHO)やアセトアルデヒド(CH3CHO)でも
良い。

した。この時の皮膜の厚さは50μで、硬さは
Hv1100であつた。(試料No.2…本発明) 前記試料No.1を温度300℃で1時間熱処理を施
した。この時の皮膜の厚さは50μで、硬さは
Hv1200であつた。(試料No.3…本発明) 従来の硬質クロムめつきとしては、クロムめつ
き浴として従来最も一般的に行われている方法は
所謂サージエント浴であつて、めつき液がクロム
酸:250g/,H2SO4:2.5g/で,浴温:60
℃,電流密度:60A/dm2でめつきを行つた。こ
の時の皮膜の厚さは50μで、硬さはHv880であつ
た。(試料No.4…従来例) なお、上記めつき皮膜の組織構成はX線解析に
よつて行つた。第4図a〜dより明らかな如く、
試料No.1〜3は非晶質をなしているのに対し、試
料4はクロムの結晶質を示している。

の腐蝕減量を測定した。

なお、図中白ヌキの棒グラフは、塩酸(HCl)
を、また斜線の棒グラフは、硫酸(H2SO4)を
使用した場合の試験結果を示すものである。

さについては、内燃機関の摺動部材として種々有
るが5μ〜200μ程度であれば充分である。

つき皮膜では得られなかつた。耐摩耗性、耐食性
が得られ、過酷な運転条件下で使用される内燃機
関の摺動部材として特にその効果が顕著である。
