As disclosed in Japanese Patent No. 61-58412, by sandwiching a covered electric wire with two sets of stripper blades, two circumferential cuts are made in the covering of the covered electric wire, and then two circumferential directions are made. The slit between the cuts makes one or more axial cuts, and then two sets of stripper cuts, each having a circumferential cut, are moved closer to each other along the coated wire to make a circumferential cut. There is a method in which the coating between them is torn off from the other coating and the coating between the circumferential cuts is peeled off.

However, in the above-mentioned conventional method for stripping the coating of the electric wire, two sets of stripper blades for making circumferential cuts are required at two locations of the coating, and since they must be brought close to each other at the time of stripping, the structure is complicated. In addition to the above, there is a drawback that the operation is difficult and the adjustment is troublesome when the size of the covered electric wire is changed. Also, since the axial cut by the slit blade is inserted with the two sets of stripper blades holding the electric wire, both ends of the axial cut cannot be completely reached to the circumferential cut, and the slit can be cut. Even if the stripper blades are moved closer to each other, the coating between the circumferential cuts may remain connected in the circumferential direction at both ends of the axial cut, sometimes requiring manual stripping of the coating, There was a drawback that the work efficiency was poor and the process could not be speeded up. The present invention has been proposed in view of the above-mentioned conventional drawbacks, has a simple structure and is easy to operate, and is easy to adjust even if the size of the covered electric wire changes, and removes the coating between the circumferential cuts. It is intended to provide a method of stripping an electric wire coating that can be surely and smoothly performed and that can improve work efficiency by speeding up the process.

Since the coating stripping method of the present invention is designed to strip the coating of the intermediate portion of the coated wire as described above, the circumferential cuts made in two places of the coating are made by one set of stripper blades. The axial cuts can be made by the slit blades without the stripper blades getting in the way, so that both circumferential cuts are surely brought into contact with both ends of the axial cuts. Therefore, in this state, when the stripper blade with the other circumferential notch is moved toward the one circumferential notch as it is, the coating between the both circumferential notches opens the axial notch. It will be stripped and fall.

Each clamp 2 is provided with an uneven groove 21 in the vertical direction on the opposite surface thereof, and the covered electric wire 1 clamped by the uneven groove 21 is stably held. Next, FIG. 11 shows a circumferential cut r when a work is performed along the steps (A) to (H) shown in FIG. 1 using the clamp 2, the stripper blade 3, and the slit blade 4. FIG. 1 is a perspective view showing a positional relationship between 1 , r 2 and an axial cut s.
Both ends of each are surely cut to reach circumferential cuts r 1 and r 2 , respectively. The clamp 2, the stripper blade 3, and the slit blade 4 move in the direction of approaching each other and in the direction of moving away from each other, and also in the lateral direction, all of which can be performed by a cylinder operation.

As described above in detail, according to the present invention, one set of stripper blades can make circumferential cuts at two positions of the coating, and the axial cuts are caused by the slit blades that interfere with the stripper blades. Since it can be inserted without making it, both circumferential cuts can be made by making sure contact with both ends of the axial cut, so the stripper blade with the other circumferential cut can be directly inserted into one circumferential cut. The coating between both circumferential cuts can be peeled off easily and reliably simply by moving it inward, the structure is simple and easy to operate, the peeling is smooth,
It is possible to provide a practically extremely effective coating stripping method that can speed up the process and can significantly improve the work efficiency.
