2. Description of the Related Art Conventionally, as a technique for decorating the surface of a tile, a printing machine is used to print a pattern on a substrate (raw substrate, squeeze substrate, etc.) by screen printing, or a pre-printed substrate is used as a substrate. The above-mentioned three methods are mainly performed, that is, by transfer by sticking or by directly writing a pattern or the like by hand drawing. Further, in JP-A-61-21990, a plurality of glazes having different colors are applied with a non-uniform thickness by battering or the like to form two or more layers, and after firing, the surfaces of the glaze layers are ground to the same level plane. Discloses a manufacturing method for obtaining a natural stone pattern on the surface of a tile.

In the above-mentioned prior art, printing or transfer is a single decoration, and it is difficult to show an uneven pattern on the tile surface sufficiently. Therefore, maintenance of equipment such as a printing machine and a transfer machine is difficult. The cost of maintenance and management also increases. Also, pressure is applied to the base during printing or transfer, which may cause cracks or damage depending on the strength of the base. Especially in printing, if the edges of the tiles are cushioned, printing may not be possible on the entire surface. ing. Also, hand-drawing is not suitable for mass production because of problems of pattern production speed and operator's skill level. Further, in the invention disclosed in the above-mentioned publication, since the pattern cannot be obtained unless the tile surface is polished after glazing, it is of course impossible to form unevenness on the surface, as in the above printing, etc.
There is a risk that the tile may be damaged or cracked during the polishing process. Also, for the purpose of obtaining tiles with a natural stone pattern, we have adopted a "bottom hanging" that shreds the glaze and scatters finely, so intermittent and accidental glaze only gives a pattern close to nature, and on the tile It does not disclose the technical idea of controlling the pattern and properties of the applied glaze.

Therefore, according to the present invention, it is possible to form an uneven pattern of filaments on the surface of a tile by using a glaze, and the sufficient production can be performed regardless of the strength and type of the base. It provides a method of decorating tiles that can maintain its ability and can control the thickness and width of the pattern, and its composition is the tile raw material after molding or the tile tightening that has been fired after molding. A glaze discharge nozzle is set above the baked body, and while at least one of the tile and the discharge nozzle is moved arbitrarily, the glaze is continuously dropped from the discharge nozzle and adheres to the tile surface on the filament. After that, the entire tile surface is glazed and fired. Further, as a second invention, the surface of the tile green body after molding or the surface of a tile calcined base that has been calcined after molding. Glazed all over After that, set a glaze discharge nozzle above the tile, and while at least one of the tile and the discharge nozzle is arbitrarily moved, drop the glaze continuously from the discharge nozzle to draw a line on the tile surface. It is characterized in that it is baked after being attached to the strip.

A glazing machine 7 using the same glazing nozzle 4 as in the first embodiment is set, and the tile tightening base material 8 is set on the conveyor 5.
Juxtapose. The glaze 4d used here also has the composition shown in Table 3 above, and the concentration is adjusted to 65%. Adjust the discharge pressure from the glazing nozzle 4, run the conveyor, and apply a line with a width of 3.0 mm and a thickness of 0.4 mm to the tile surface,
After drawing, it is fired at a temperature of 1100 ° C. According to the present example, the tile green body was pre-fired, then the surface was glazed, and then the surface was subjected to a stripe and fired. Therefore, the glaze drawn in comparison with that in Example 1 was It clearly appears as a convex line as shown in FIGS. In the above examples, the same glaze and pigment were used as the glaze 4c on the entire surface of the tile and the glaze 4d to be applied to the filament, but pigments having different color tones may be used, respectively. The three-dimensional effect and the color difference are more clearly shown in. Of course, the pigment may be added to only one of them.

In the second embodiment, the concentration and viscosity of the glaze applied to the filament are relatively high, so that the convex state of the glaze is more distinct, but conversely, the concentration and viscosity are set low. The filament may be glazed with a glaze as in Example 2, and in that case, when the glaze is applied, the filament becomes an expanded line, and when firing is performed, the line portion is reduced in volume and a stripe close to the base glaze plane is formed. A tile surface having can be obtained. Table 4 shows an example of the relationship between the glaze specific gravity, the concentration, the viscosity, and the state of the obtained line (glazing thickness), which were adjusted in the glazes having the compositions shown in Table 3 below. (The glaze temperature during viscosity measurement is 24
℃)

As shown in Table 4 above, by adjusting the density and viscosity of the glaze applied to the filaments, the density of the decorative portion in screen printing and transfer is about 0.10 mm, compared with the density. When the glaze is adjusted to have a viscosity of 52% and a viscosity of 34 mpa / s or more, the convex shape becomes more apparent, and it is possible to apply the glaze up to about 0.4 mm, which is four times the conventional value. Even if the glaze has a viscosity outside the range shown in Table 4, if the viscosity is 400 mpa / s or more, the peptizer content is 0.01% to
0.1%, conversely CMC is used when the viscosity is 30 mpa / s or less.
The properties of the glaze can be controlled by adding 0.5% to 3.0% (synthetic glue) or the like to adjust the viscosity.

In the above embodiment, a mesh pattern can be formed by drawing the wire once and then rotating the tile 90 degrees and drawing the tile again, and a diagonal line can be drawn by shifting the tile at an arbitrary angle such as 45 degrees. Also, by changing the discharge port diameter of the glazed nozzle in the drawn state, a width of 20 mm,
Lines can be glazed up to a thickness of about 1.0 mm. Further, when glazing while swinging the glaze nozzle to the left and right, a wavy line or curve can be formed, and when glazed while swinging up and down, the glaze dropped from a high position spreads, and wide and narrow parts alternate. The line that appears is obtained. Of course, the operation of the glazed nozzle is not limited to a single swing in the up, down, left, and right directions. For example, if a new operation control mechanism for the glazed nozzle is provided, finer decoration such as figures and pictures can be applied.

As described above, according to the present invention, it is possible to form an irregular pattern of stripes on the surface of a tile by using a glaze with a simple structure, and a tile having a three-dimensional effect and a reactive effect after firing. Can be obtained. In addition, since it does not affect the base, there is no restriction on the strength and properties of the tile to be applied, the shape of the edge, etc. In addition, no extra steps and management are required, and the cost of production equipment etc. does not occur. It can also contribute to the improvement of production efficiency. Further, by adjusting the properties such as the concentration, viscosity and composition of the glaze as in the example, it becomes possible to widely select the form of the unevenness from the flat shape to the clear convex shape.
