SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION In order to solve the above problems, the present invention is a flexible belt-like connection in which a chip-shaped electronic component is loaded in a groove formed in a reel core of a take-up reel that is attached to and detached from a drive shaft and has a narrow width between reel side plates. When the tip of the body is inserted and wound up, the axis of the rotatably supported product guide for introducing the connecting body into the take-up reel is made to face in the groove depth direction of the take-up reel, and the connection is made. The winding reel is rotated while the body is transferred to enter the groove portion of the reel core while the front end portion is unrestrained and in a non-engaged state, and the connecting body is connected at the corner between the groove portion of the reel core and the outer periphery of the reel core. At the same time as bending the tip to start winding, the product guide that is in the free state due to the winding start tension of the connecting body is driven in the tangential direction of the reel core, and then the product guide is wound while following the winding surface of the connecting body. This is a method for winding a strip-shaped connected body.

The connecting body 3 transferred from the previous step includes a guide roller 7, a dancer roller 8 that moves up and down, a feed roller 9 that is connected to a feeding motor (not shown) that feeds the connecting body 3, and a substantially up-and-down position that comes into contact with and follows the feed roller 9. The pinch roller 10 arranged is used. Further, in front of the feed roller 9, a tape cutter 11 for cutting the connecting body 3, a guide part 12 for leaving a cover tape part only and cutting the embossed tape to form a leader part, and a vertically variable product guide 13 are arranged. I have set up. The product guide 13 is formed in such a size that it can be inserted between the side plates of the take-up reel A, and is configured to be freely movable up and down with the base end as a fulcrum. And is moved upward from inside the take-up reel A. Further product guide 1
A detector 14 for detecting the rear end of the connecting body 3 is attached to an intermediate position of 3. The tip of the product guide 13 extends to a position close to the opening 2a of the groove 2 of the take-up reel A. The positional relationship between the product guide 13 and the groove portion 2 of the take-up reel A is preferably such that the extension line of the groove portion 2 in the forming direction is aligned with the axial direction of the product guide 13.
The above-mentioned positional relationship does not necessarily mean that both are positioned on a straight line. For example, the shape of the groove part is not formed toward the center of the reel core, or the groove part is bent at an intermediate position. Even in the case of the groove, if the tip of the product guide is located at a position close to the openings, the tip of the connecting body can enter the groove and be wound.

In order to mount the take-up reel A on the output shaft 4 and always set the groove portion 2 at a predetermined position, the following configuration is adopted.
On the side surface side of the winding device B in FIG. 2, a stock carrier which is arranged in parallel with the space between the winding reels A and moves in parallel is positioned. On this stock carrier, two reel insertion rods capable of supporting the take-up reels in parallel are provided so as to be opposed to each other in a horizontal state with a slight interval left from the output shaft 4. One of the two reel insertion rods is used as an empty reel insertion rod and the other is used as a full reel insertion rod. In the same manner, the center of the reel core of the empty reel is inserted into the insertion rod, and the groove is inserted into the guide rod so as to be inserted and stocked.

In the winding device B configured as described above, the connecting body 3 is wound as follows. First, the take-up reel A is mounted at a predetermined position, and the product guide 13 is set to the lower limit position. In the above state, the tip end of the product guide 13 is located close to the opening 2a of the reel core groove 2. Next, the feed roller 9 is operated to continuously transfer the connecting body 3, so that the leading end of the connecting body 3 that has passed through the product guide 13 is inserted into the reel core groove portion 2. (This state is shown by a solid line in FIG. 1) After the leading end of the connecting body 3 has entered the groove 2, when the winding drive motor is operated, the connecting body 3 in the unrestrained and non-engaged state enters the groove 2. The tip portion is wound around the reel core while being bent at the corner between the groove 2 and the outer periphery of the reel core 1. In the above state, the product guide 13a in the free state rises to the position shown by the imaginary line D as the take-up reel A rotates and the connecting body 3 is transferred. Further, winding the connecting body 3,
The product guide 13b is in the position shown by the imaginary line E when the predetermined winding amount is reached by the action of the detector (not shown).

Next, when the predetermined winding amount of the connecting body 3 is reached, the tape cutter 1
1 operates to disconnect the connecting body 3. When the rear end of the wound connecting body 3 passes through the detector 14 of the product guide 13, it is detected and a signal is sent to the adhesive tape supply mechanism C to feed the adhesive tape. The adhesive tape is attached from the rear end of the connecting body 3 to the winding peripheral surface which has already been wound.
Winding is completed by the above operation.

After the above, the product guide 13, the arm 16, and the reel guide 5 are respectively moved to move outward from the take-up reel A, and the take-up reel that has finished winding is removed. The take-up reel withdrawing means moves the stock carrier, sets the tip of the full reel insertion rod to the position corresponding to the tip of the output shaft 4, and moves the operating body forward.
The take-up reel is pushed out, and the center of the reel core of the take-up reel moves from the output shaft 14 side to the insertion rod side and is stocked. When the empty reel is attached to the output shaft 14, the stock carrier is moved so that the tip of the empty reel insertion rod that has passed through the empty reel is aligned with the tip of the output shaft 14, and then the actuating member is moved. By advancing and adsorbing and holding the empty reel by the adsorption pad 6 arranged at the tip thereof, and moving the operating member backward in this state, the center of the reel core of the empty reel moves from the insertion rod side to the output shaft 14 side. The output shaft 4 is mounted on the output shaft 4 as a winding plate reel to which the connecting body 3 is newly transferred and wound.

B) Since the tip of the connecting body is not fixed with adhesive tape, the rear end of the connecting body can be pulled out smoothly without resistance when the connecting body is pulled out again from the take-up reel, and therefore the take-up reel pops out. Does not occur and does not affect the work in the subsequent process.

C) To provide a sandwiching part or the like for restraining the tip of the connecting body in the groove of the reel core, or to provide a means for controlling the rotation of the product guide in accordance with the change in winding thickness of the connecting body is the width between the reel side plates. However, the structure of the entire device is complicated, and the winding of the connecting body is possible without requiring such a complicated structure. .

D) Since the axial center of the product guide is opposed to the groove depth direction of the take-up reel, even if a taping tape loaded with chip-shaped electronic components, a so-called flexible connecting body, is transferred from the product guide. Since the tip thereof hardly hangs down as compared with a flexible long object such as a fastener, it is possible to attach the product guide to any position of 360 ° with respect to the take-up reel.

E) By rotating the take-up reel while the leading end of the connecting body is inserted into the groove of the reel core while the leading end of the connecting body is unrestrained and unlatched, the connecting body can be wound up. It is possible to wind even a concatenated body having a shape in which no concavo-convex portion exists on the front and back surfaces.

1. A tip end of a flexible band-shaped connecting body having a chip-shaped electronic component loaded therein is inserted into a groove formed in a reel core of a take-up reel which is detachably attached to a drive shaft and has a narrow width between reel side plates. In winding, the axis of a rotatably supported product guide that introduces the connecting body to the winding reel is opposed to the groove depth direction of the winding reel, and the connecting body is transferred to the reel core. The winding reel while rotating the take-up reel while keeping the leading end unconstrained and not hooked into the groove of the reel core, and bending the leading end of the connecting body at the corner between the groove of the reel core and the outer circumference of the reel core. When starting, the product guide which is in a free state due to the winding start tension of the connecting body is driven in the tangential direction of the reel core, and then the product guide is wound while following the winding peripheral surface of the connecting body.
