DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION [Industrial field of application] The present invention relates to a fiber material that can be widely used in, for example, sports outerwear such as a windbreaker or work clothes or rainwear of workers engaged in work with a large amount of sweat. More specifically, it relates to a fiber material having a multi-layer structure having both water absorbency and dryness.

As is well known, highly absorbent fibers, such as acrylic acid ester fibers, which are excellent in water absorption, are hardly used in general fiber products. The reason for this is that when a woven fabric is made of super absorbent fibers, the fibers are bundled into a twisted yarn, and the fibers are in close contact with each other. Increase in the state of wrapping the water, the wicking of water inside the fabric becomes poor, and the feeling of wetting becomes severe and the skin feels sticky.
This is because it was very uncomfortable to wear and was not suitable for general textile products.

Therefore, in view of the above circumstances, the present inventor has conducted research and experiment over many years in order to expand the use of general fiber products of superabsorbent fibers, and as a result, the drying performance is good while utilizing the characteristics of the superabsorbent fibers. It was the successful development of a new fiber material.

The present invention succeeded in development is a non-woven fabric formed by superposing and heat-bonding a mixed web in which a water absorbent fiber cotton and a heat fusion synthetic fiber cotton are mixed on the upper layer of the web of the heat fusion synthetic fiber. And a synthetic fiber woven fabric that has been bonded to the upper layer of this non-woven fabric by partial adhesion and has been subjected to a breathable water repellent finish.

In the fiber material according to the present invention, only the heat-bonding synthetic fibers are arranged in the lower layer portion constituting the nonwoven fabric, and the heat-bonding synthetic fibers and the water absorbing fibers are mutually dispersed in the upper layer portion constituting the nonwoven fabric. As a result, the lower layer plays the role of a hydrophobic layer, and water is efficiently absorbed by the water-absorbent fibers that are dispersed and arranged in the upper layer, and this absorbed water is partially absorbed in the upper layer of the nonwoven fabric. The woven fabric of synthetic fibers bonded together by adhesion becomes vapor and passes through and radiates to the outside. At this time, the woven fabric of synthetic fibers has been subjected to a breathable water-repellent treatment, but it does not hinder the diffusion of water vapor. Further, the hydrophobic layer fixes and protects the water absorbing fibers contained in the water absorbing layer.

The multi-layered fibrous material according to the present invention, as shown in FIGS. 1 and 2, is a nonwoven fabric 1 having a hydrophobic layer 1a and a water absorbing layer 1b.
And a polyester fiber woven fabric 2 which is bonded to the upper surface of the non-woven fabric 1 and which has been subjected to a breathable water repellent treatment.

The non-woven fabric 1 is obtained by superposing a mixed web obtained by mixing the cotton of the acrylic ester fiber 4 and the cotton of the heat-bonded polyester fiber 5 on the upper layer side of the web of the heat-bonded polyester fiber 3 and heat-bonding the mixed web. The non-woven fabric 1 is formed by the above, and the hydrophobic layer 1a composed only of the heat-bonding polyester fiber 3 is formed in the lower layer part constituting the non-woven fabric 1, and the acrylic ester fiber 4 is formed in the upper layer part constituting the non-woven fabric 1 (see FIGS. The water absorption amount 1b including the inside is filled in (see FIG. 2 and FIG. 3). The acrylic ester fiber 4 is known as a fiber having an extremely excellent water absorption property, but in order to maintain the efficient water absorption performance and the drying performance, the acrylic ester fiber 4 was dispersed and fixed. The heat-bonding polyester fibers 3 and 5 are used as the binder for fixing.
Is made into a non-woven fabric. That is, the heat-bonded polyester fibers 3 and 5 are fusion-bonded at their contact points by heat-treating the webs that are superposed on each other from above and below while gently pressing them with a roll.
At this time, the lower hydrophobic layer 1a protects the acrylic acid ester fibers 4 of the water absorbing layer 1b from coming out.

The polyester fiber woven fabric 2 is formed by spot-printing a synthetic resin adhesive on the upper surface of the non-woven fabric 1 and bonding them by spot-bonding, and then spraying or foaming a water-repellent agent on the surface of the woven fabric 2 and drying it. It is a heat-treated material that is breathable and water repellent. The reason for the point-bonding is to prevent the upper surface of the non-woven fabric 1 from being hermetically sealed with an adhesive, and to allow the moisture absorbed by the non-woven fabric 1 to emanate from the woven fabric 2 of polyester fibers as water vapor. At this time, the breathable water-repellent treatment does not hinder the emission of water vapor.

It is needless to say that the present invention is not limited to the above-described embodiments and includes various modifications within the scope of the gist of the present invention. For example, instead of the heat-bonding polyester fibers 3 and 5, other heat-bonding synthetic fibers such as polyethylene fibers and polypropylene fibers may be used, and instead of the polyester fiber woven fabric 2, other synthetic fibers may be used. The woven fabric may be, for example, a nylon fiber woven fabric. Further, as shown in FIG.
And a synthetic fiber woven fabric 2 with a coarse mesh 6 of heat-sealing fibers (for example, polypropylene) interposed therebetween and subjected to heat treatment by stacking three sheets, the nonwoven fabric 1 and the synthetic fiber woven fabric 2 are reticulated. It may be heat-sealed.

As described above, according to the present invention, a water-absorbing layer containing water-absorbent fibers dispersed in the upper layer portion of a nonwoven fabric is provided by arranging only the heat-melting synthetic fibers that serve as a hydrophobic layer in the lower layer portion of the nonwoven fabric. Is provided to enable the water-absorbing layer to absorb a large amount of water efficiently, and the absorbed water is released as steam through the upper layer breathable water-repellent synthetic fiber fabric. It is possible to provide a fibrous material having a multi-layer structure having both performance and drying performance, and the fibrous material has a well-appearing appearance as a synthetic fiber woven upper layer appearing on the surface. Therefore, if this fiber material is used for sports outerwear such as windbreakers and golf rainwear, work clothes for workers engaged in work with a large amount of sweat, or general rainwear, it is possible to prevent the feeling of unevenness and stickiness on the skin. It is something that allows you to enjoy a comfortable fit. Further, since the lower layer portion of the non-woven fabric has a hydrophobic layer so that the water absorbing layer does not come into direct contact with the nonwoven fabric, it does not give a feeling of wetting when worn, and also protects the water absorbing fibers.
