接触縁が引寄せるとともに各引戸を建物の開口部の両側
の縦枠に圧着せしめる力が作用して戸閉め時に各引戸が
ガタツキのない状態に固定され、また、接触縁が直線状
でかつローラに接触して相手引戸を引き寄せるので、内
側の接触縁も円弧になったものと比較して施錠時の圧着
力も大きく、かつ施錠部材の根元はその先端に比較して
きわめて巾広となっているので頑丈であるなどの効果が
ある。
