It is composed of a moving handrail 7 and the like which is rotated along the outer periphery of 6 in synchronization with the step 5. A boarding / alighting board 9 is laid at the upper and lower floor side entrance (not shown) on the same level as the floor 8 of the building, and at the tip of the boarding / alighting board 9 closest to the step 5 side, In order to ensure the safety of passengers' feet at their mouths, the comb 10 is supported and mounted by a comb mounting beam 11.

It is fixed by 2, and the tip side of the comb 10 projects forward from the mounting beam 11 and is slightly curved downward, and the tip of the step cleat 5 which is a crosspiece of the surface of the step 5 is attached to the tip thereof.
A comb-tooth-shaped portion 10a is formed which keeps a slight clearance with a and scoops up the passenger's foot.

However, a careless passenger who neglects to get off the escalator neglects to cross the com 1 and rarely wear shoes such as shoes. There was a case where the tip was caught in the gap between the comb 10 and the step 5 and injured. Therefore, recently, for the safety of passengers, the comb 10 is damaged to prevent danger when the footwear is about to be caught. That is, as shown in FIG. 9, the comb 10 is formed with a thin portion 10b on the side closer to the base end so as to be easily broken, and is divided into a plurality of small pieces in the width direction of the escalator so that when the footwear of a passenger is pinched, Com pieces are designed to break.

Therefore, when such a situation occurs, it is desirable to detect the foot caught between the comb mounting beam 11 and the step 5 and immediately stop the operation of the scalator. However, as shown in FIG. The gap between the lower surface of 11 and the surface of the step 5 is very narrow, and it is impossible to provide a detector such as a switch of the safety circuit or its sensor in that space, which is difficult to achieve.

Despite the extremely narrow space between the lower surface of the comb mounting beam and the surface of the step, the detection component can be mounted without any problem, and the passenger's feet are not If it is sandwiched between the lower surface of the comb mounting beam and the stepped surface after damaging the vehicle, it can be reliably detected and the escalator operation can be stopped immediately to ensure the safety of passengers. It is an object of the present invention to provide an escalator entrance / exit safety device.

したものである。In the escalator entrance / exit safety device of the present invention, the gap between the lower surface of the comb mounting beam of the entrance / exit and the surface of the step is very narrow, and it is not possible to directly provide a switch or the like between them. A thin detection bar that can be arranged without being extended is provided in a long position in the escalator width direction and supported at fixed positions by springs at both ends, and the detection bar is provided at a position with a relatively large space at least one side of the detection bar. A detector is provided to stop the operation of the escalator in response to being moved from a fixed position by being pushed by footwear or the like of a passenger sandwiched between the comb mounting beam and the step.

As shown in FIG. 2, the detection bar 13 is a thin strip plate, and its length L is longer than the lateral width of the step 5, and the thickness h is the lower surface of the comb mounting beam 11 and the surface of the step 5. The dimension is set to be thinner than the space between and, and the whole is made of a synthetic resin molded product having flexibility, and can be bent and deformed relatively easily by an external force. The detection bar 13 extends in the width direction of the escalator so as to straddle the step 5, and the step 5
It is supported in a high fixed position so as not to come into contact with the comb mounting beam 11 so as to be separated from the surface of the step 5 as much as possible, as shown in FIG. As the supporting means, hooks 14 are attached to both ends of the detection bar 13 as shown in FIG.
As shown in the drawing, tension springs 15 are provided respectively, and both tension springs 15 have a proper tension to support the detection bar 13 by pulling it from both ends. The other ends of the tension springs 15 on both ends are fixed to the left and right support plates 17 via pins 16, respectively. Are rotatably provided via pins 19, and in normal times, the tension of tension springs 15 at both ends causes the center line of the detection bar 13 and hooks 14 at both ends thereof, tension springs 15, and pins 16, as shown in FIG. 19 are aligned on a straight line.

They are fixedly attached to the upper surfaces of the left and right support plates 17 so as to be arranged at positions on both sides (on the left and right outer sides of the step 5) with a relatively large space. Each of the micro switches 20 has a normally-closed contact piece 20a, which is the detection bar 1 described above.
3 Engages with the operating piece 21 projecting from the portion of the tension spring 15 which is connected to the hooks 14 at both ends near the connecting end, and the operating piece 2
The contact piece 20 is interlocked with the movement of the detection bar 13 via 1

The escalator operation main circuit (not shown) is cut off to stop the operation of the escalator.

In the event that a passenger gets his foot caught between the comb 10 and the step 5 and the comb 10 is damaged, the passenger does not move and the foot remains on the lower surface of the comb mounting beam 11 and the surface of the step 5. When it is sandwiched between the foot and the foot A, as shown in FIG.
Since the detection bar 13 is flexible by being pushed by the tip end of each of the left and right sides, it moves backward from the fixed position against the tension springs 15 on both ends while bending as shown in the drawing, and at the same time, the left and right support plates 17 are also pin 19 respectively. It comes to rotate about the fulcrum. Along with this movement, the tension springs 15 at both ends extend, the relative positional relationship between the operating piece 21 and the microswitch 20 protruding near the ends changes, and the operating piece 21 causes the contact piece 20a of the microswitch 20 to move. It is opened so that it is laid down, so that the safety circuit is cut off as described above and the operation of the escalator is immediately stopped, so that the danger to the passengers is avoided.

Since each tension spring 15 contracts so as to attract the detection bar fragments when the cutting is performed, the micro switch 20 is operated via the operating piece 21 in the same manner as in the case of the above expansion, and the escalator is operated. Will come to a stop.

Here, except for the detection bar 23, the detection bar 23 is the same as that of the above-mentioned embodiment, and the detection bar 23 is made of a synthetic resin molded product having the entire length L in the same manner as described above. It is more than twice as strong as that of the example.
However, with the large thickness H, the lower surface of the comb mounting beam 11 and the step 5
Since the detection bar 23 naturally does not enter the gap between the surface and the surface, the lower half strong portion of the detection bar 23 in the thickness H direction is formed in a comb shape as shown in FIG. That is, the upper surface of the detection bar 23 has a flat shape, but the lower surface has a large number of uneven portions 23a, 23a.
b is formed, and the concavo-convex portions 23a and 23b are in a state of being engaged with the surface cleat 5a of the step 5 while maintaining a slight gap. As a result, the detection bar 23 can have a large apparent thickness H, and when the passenger's foot A is caught, the detection bar 23 can be reliably held even in the slight gap between the lower surface of the comb mounting beam 11 and the surface of the step 5. Since the foot A can be detected, the safety is further improved.

降口安全装置となる。Since the present invention has been made as described above, the detection component can be mounted without any problem even though the space between the lower surface of the comb mounting beam at the entrance and exit of the escalator and the surface of the step is very small, and the passenger's If your foot gets caught between the lower surface of the comb mounting beam and the surface of the step after damaging the comb, it can be detected reliably and the escalator can be stopped immediately to ensure the safety of passengers. It will be a safety device for escalator entrance / exit.
