A sandwiching member, which is axially supported by a support shaft and has an annular inner body and a circular outer body, each of which has a notch in a part thereof, and which sandwiches and supports a columnar object inside the annular inner body. Opposed cutting means for cutting the columnar object to the inner part of the annular inner body, which is composed of the arranged support mechanism and an annular inner body partially attached with a notch in the support shaft so as to move up and down, and an annular outer body. A columnar article removing device comprising a cutting mechanism arranged and a grasping mechanism which is axially supported by a support shaft and has a notch in a part thereof, and a clamping member is arranged to face each other on an inner side to grasp a cutting and removing section of the columnar object.
