After the carriage 4 stops traveling, the shutter 6 is moved to the right by grasping the pin 13 by the shutter opening / closing device 19, and when the shutter 6 opens to a predetermined position, the detector provided on the carriage 4 installs the shutter 6 on the shutter 6. The detecting body 15 present is detected, and the opening operation of the shutter 6 is stopped. Next, the transport container 3 stored in the carriage 4 is delivered to the storage container 2. After the transfer operation of the transfer container is completed, the shutter opening / closing container 19 is reversely operated to move the shutter 6 leftward. When the shutter 6 returns to the fixed position, the fixed position detector detects the detection body 17 to stop the closing operation of the shutter 6, and after releasing the pin 13 held by the shutter opening / closing device 19, the carriage 4 is at the original position. Return to. All of the above operations are automatically performed according to the instructions of the computer.
