When an operator attends to set the cloth body from the original roll to the stretched portion, the worker does not touch the cloth body so that the front end area of the cloth body is not unduly loosened (wrinkled). It is possible to set the fabric body by pulling it in the length direction with the help of the above, but if such an artificial wrinkle removal method was adopted, the preparatory work before the start of spreading can be automated. Absent. Moreover, if there is slack (wrinkles) in the lengthwise direction in the tip region of the set fabric, it is not possible to properly perform the subsequent rebound action. Must be completely removed.

As shown in the flowchart of FIG. 5, when the set time t2 for the wrinkle removing action has elapsed, the motor M3
Without turning off the power supply to the cloth conveying means 9 and re-driving the unwinding roller 7 and the auxiliary belt conveyor 8 stopped before that by the motors M1 and M2,
It is also possible to continuously carry out and convey the fabric body T. In any case, finally, the cloth body T is conveyed to a position where the tip reaches the stretched portion 12, that is, a position detected by the cloth body presence / absence detector S5, and by the detection signal of the detector S5. The energization of the motors M1 to M3 is cut off, and the feeding of the cloth T and the setting of the extending portion 12 are completed.

The spreading operation is performed by a conventionally known method. During the spreading operation, the cloth T fed from the original roll R is sent to the spreading section 12 by the cloth conveying means 9,
When the cloth body feeding speed from the auxiliary belt conveyor 8 to the cloth body conveying means 9 and the cloth body moving speed on the cloth body conveying means 9 are substantially the same, the auxiliary belt conveyor 8 to the main belt conveyor The cloth T that hangs up 10 moves in a normal hanging region 18 having a constant width in the front-rear direction shown in FIG.
If the cloth moving speed on the cloth conveying means 9 is faster than the cloth feeding speed from the auxiliary belt conveyor 8 onto the cloth conveying means 9, the cloth T hung from the auxiliary belt conveyor 8 is increased. Is gradually pulled to the side where the cloth sliding contact member 13 is present, and when it comes off the normal hanging region 18 to the side where the cloth sliding contact member 13 is present, the cloth tension detection S2 detects the cloth T and turns it ON. To do. On the contrary, when the moving speed of the cloth on the cloth conveying means 9 is slower than the speed of feeding the cloth on the cloth conveying means 9 from the auxiliary belt conveyor 8, the cloth T hanging from the auxiliary belt conveyor 8 is When the cloth slidably contacting member 13 is gradually slackened in the opposite direction, and when it comes off from the normal hanging region 18 to the side opposite to the side having the cloth slidable contacting member 13, the cloth slackness detector S3 is released. The cloth T is detected and turned on.

However, as shown in the flow chart of FIG. 9, when the cloth tension detector S2 is turned on, the rotation speeds of the motors M1 and M2 are accelerated, and the feeding speed of the cloth T by the unwinding roller 7 and the auxiliary belt conveyor 8 is increased. Is accelerated. or,
When the cloth slack detector S3 is turned on, the motors M1 and M
The rotation speed of 2 is reduced, and the feeding speed of the fabric T by the unwinding roller 7 and the auxiliary belt conveyor 8 is reduced. In this way, the cloth body portion T hanging above the cloth body conveying means 9
Based on the movement of b in the conveying direction or the relaxation in the opposite direction, the feeding speed of the cloth T by the disentangling roller 7 and the auxiliary belt conveyor 8, that is, the speed of feeding the cloth to the cloth conveying means 9,
Is automatically controlled so that the cloth body T hanging from the auxiliary belt conveyor 8 onto the main belt conveyor 10 is always adjusted to be within the normal hanging area 18 having a constant width in the front-rear direction, and the cloth body T is conveyed. It is possible to prevent the cloth T from being unduly pulled by the means 9 and the cloth T from loosening and wrinkling on the cloth conveying means 9.

Further, the automatic control of the cloth body feeding speed also works at the time of starting the cloth body conveyance after the lengthwise wrinkle removing operation of the cloth body T described above is completed. That is, when the lengthwise wrinkle removing action of the cloth T is completed, the tension that the cloth T sent from the auxiliary belt conveyor 8 onto the main belt conveyor 10 contacts the cloth sliding contact member 13 as shown in FIG. Since it is in a state, the cloth body portion T
b is separated from the normal hanging region 18 toward the cloth sliding contact member 13 side. Therefore, since the cloth tension detector S2 is ON,
Drive all the motors M1 to M3 to move the cloth body T to the spreading portion 1
When the sheet is fed to the auxiliary belt conveyor 8, the driving speeds of the unwinding roller 7 and the auxiliary belt conveyor 8 by the motors M1 and M2 are accelerated, and the cloth T sent from the auxiliary belt conveyor 8
Is released.

When the auxiliary belt conveyor 8 is used as in the embodiment, the cloth hanging position on the cloth conveying means 9 is constant regardless of whether the turntable 5 is turned upside down. One cloth body sliding contact member 13 arranged at a fixed position with respect to the conveyance direction can always act effectively. Further, the presence of the cloth sliding contact member 13 makes it possible to effectively perform the wrinkle removing action in the longitudinal direction of the cloth body front end region. When the member 13 is configured to be positionable in the perspective direction with respect to the surface of the cloth conveying means 9, the cloth tip is first moved under the cloth sliding member 13 and conveyed to an appropriate position. At this time, the cloth sliding contact member 13 is separated from the cloth conveying means 9 to widen the lower space of the cloth sliding contact member 13, and the cloth body tip is secured to ensure that the cloth sliding contact member 13 is below the cloth sliding contact member 13. It can be moved smoothly.

(Effect of the Invention) As described above, according to the method for removing wrinkles in the cloth in the cloth spreading machine of the present invention, the cloth is set at the time of the preparatory work before starting the cloth spreading for setting the cloth from the original roll to the cloth spreading portion. Since the slack (wrinkle) in the lengthwise direction of the distal end region of the body can be automatically removed, the subsequent rebound action can be favorably performed.
Moreover, not only can the manpower be reduced, but a dedicated machine for removing wrinkles is not required at all, and the preparation work before the start of the spreading can be automated with almost no increase in equipment cost. .
