発明の目的 Purpose of the invention
本発明は、絵柄の同調精度が高く、かつ耐候性、成形性

プラスチック成形品であって、その形状に同調した絵柄
の印刷を有するものを製造するため、成形用のいわゆる
同調シートを用意し、これを真空成形などの手段で成形
して製品としている。 従来、成形用同調シートを製造するには下記の種々の方
法があるが、それぞれ欠点を有する。 まず、成形性の良好な合成樹脂フィルムの表面に直接印
刷を施してからその表面に成形性の良好な合成樹脂シー
トをラミネートする方法は、印刷およびラミネートの際
の熱によりシートが伸びるので、絵柄の印刷が変形する
ことが多い。 シートの伸びを防ぐために寸法安定性の高い合成樹脂フ
ィルムを使用し、その裏面に直接印刷を66た上に成形
性の良好な合成樹脂のシートをラミネートする方法によ
って得た同調シートは、熱によりシートが伸びることは
なく絵柄の同調精度は高いが、成形性が劣っている。一
般に、寸法安定性の高い合成樹脂のフィルムは成形性が
よくないからである。 そこで、寸法安定性の高い合成樹脂フィルムを使用して
転写フィルムを製造し、成形性の良好な合成樹脂シート
に絵柄を転写する方法が考えられた。 これにより寸法
安定性と成形性とが両立できるが、インキ層が表面に出
ているため印刷の耐摩耗性がよくない。 耐摩耗性を確保するため、上記転写フィルムを用いて成
形性の良好な合成樹脂フィルムの裏面に絵柄を転写後、
成形性の良好な合成樹脂シートをラミネートすればよさ
そうであるが、やはりラミネートの際の熱でフィルムが

の製造方法は、第1図に示すように、寸法安定性の高い
合成樹脂フィルム1上に、耐候性および成形性のすぐれ
た合成樹脂の層2をキャスティングまたは熱ラミネート
により形成し、この耐候性および成形性のすぐれた合成
樹脂の層2上に絵柄の印刷3を施し、さらにこの上に成
形性の良好な合成樹脂シート4を積層した後、第2図に
示すように、前記寸法安定性の高い合成樹脂フィルム1
を剥離することを特徴とする。 寸法安定性の高い合成樹脂フィルムとしては、ポリエス
テル、ポリカーボネートおよびポリイミドからえらんだ
もののフィルムが適当である。 耐候性および成形性のすぐれた合成樹脂の層を形成する
材料は、ポリ塩化ビニルまたはポリメチルメタクリレー
トを用いればよい。 成形性の良好な合成樹脂シートとして、ポリ塩化ビニ
ル、ABS、ポリエチレン、ポリプロピレン、EVA、
ポリメチルメタクリレート、ポリスチレンおよびナイロ
ンからえらんだもののシートが好適に使用できる。 絵柄の印刷は、通常の印刷インキを用いて、グラビアそ

性および成形性のすぐれた合成樹脂の層2の伸びが寸法
安定性の高い合成樹脂フィルム1により防止され寸法安
定性を保った状態で印刷ができる。この上に成形性の良
好な合成樹脂シート4を積層するので、ラミネートの際
の熱による伸びが防止され、やはり寸法が安定した状態
で積層が行なわれる。寸法安定性の高い合成樹脂フィル
ム1と耐候性および成形性のすぐれた合成樹脂の層2は
接着強度の弱い仮密着状態にあるので、第2図に示すよ
うに、寸法安定性の高い合成樹脂フィルム1を剥離すれ
ば、耐候性、成形性の良好な成形用同調シートが得られ

用い、その上に、耐候性および成形性のすぐれた合成樹
脂の層として、厚さ50μのポリ塩化ビニル「N−1
4」(日本カーバイド)の層をキャスティングにより形
成した。このポリ塩化ビニルの層の上に、シルクスクリ
ーン印刷により絵柄の印刷を施した。さらにこの上に、
成形性の良好な合成樹脂のシートとして、厚さ500μ
のABSシート「201」(三宝)を、温度200℃、
圧力40kg/cm2、時間3分間の条件下で熱プレスする
ことによりラミネートした。 上記ポリエステルフィルムを剥離して成形用同調シート
を得た。このシートは、真空成形により成形したとき良
好な成形性を示し、この真空成形品は耐候性のすぐれた
ものであった。 発明の効果 本発明の成形用同調シートの製造方法を用いれば、製造
時の印刷およびラミネートの際の寸法安定性を確保して
同調精度の高い絵柄の印刷を行なうことができ、かつ成
形性の良好な成形用同調シートが得られる。この同調シ
ートを成形して得た成形品は、表層部が耐候性の良好な
