め、前記太陽歯車に形成した係止歯にストッパー爪を係
脱自在に設けたものである。 前記駆動軸に設ける遊星歯車支持筒は摩擦制動部材で連
結するドラグ機構による場合と遊星歯車支持筒を駆動軸

形成されている。 前記遊星歯車8・8…は、その内側部が駆動軸6に回転
可能に嵌着された太陽歯車13に噛合する一方、外側部
は駆動歯車11の内側歯12に噛合しており、更に前記
太陽歯車13に設けられた係止歯14には側板15に軸
支された操作片16で作動されかつ発条17で附勢され
たストッパー爪18が係脱自在に係合しており、また駆
動軸6の外端には摩擦制動部材7の調節螺子19が設け
られ駆動軸6に対する遊星歯車支持筒9の摩擦結合力を
強弱に調節できるように構成されている。 従って第2図又は第3図のように操作片16でストッパ
ー爪18を係止歯14に係合せしめて太陽歯車13の釣
糸捲取り方向の回転を阻止した状態でハンドル5を釣糸
捲取り方向に回転すると、駆動軸6が一体的に回転し太
陽歯車13がストッパー爪18で回転が阻止されている
ので遊星歯車8は自転しながら内側歯12に噛合して駆
動歯車11を増速回転し、その回転はピニオン3、スプ
ール軸2を介してスプール1を高速で捲取ることができ
る。 また操作片16を回動し第4図ようにストッパー爪18
を係止歯14から脱した状態でハンドル5を釣糸捲取り
方向に回転すると、遊星歯車支持筒9は一方向クラッチ
10を介して駆動歯車11に直結されて一体的に回転す
る一方、太陽歯車13はストッパー爪18から解放され
ているため遊星歯車8に噛合した状態で内側歯12の回
転に追従し遊星歯車機構による増速作用を受けない状態
になり、ハンドル5の回転を駆動歯車11、ピニオン
3、スプール軸2を介してスプール1に伝達しスプール
1を低速で捲取るものである。 本発明における一方向クラッチ10としては前記実施例
のニールドベアリング方式に限らず、例えば出没自在の
係合ピンのスライド係合方式を利用したり、爪片係合方
式を利用する等、任意の一方向クラッチを使用すること
ができる。 また第6図の実施例は、遊星歯車支持筒9を駆動軸6に
直接回り止め固定したものである。 また前記実施例ではストッパー爪18を発条17で係止
歯14に附勢しているが、ストッパー機構はこれに限定
されるものではなく公知のストッパー機構を利用してス
トッパー爪18を係止歯14に係脱自在に形成してよ
い。 しかして前記実施例はスプール軸2に対してスプール1
を一体的に回動するように固着せしめた場合について説
明したが、スプール軸2に対してスプール1を軸受を介
して回転自在に支持するようにした両軸受型リールに
も、また片軸受型リールにおける固定したスプール軸に
