Such a disposable diaper may be worn for up to 15 hours, and various measures have been taken to absorb water and waterproof during that time. However, immediately after urination, only a weak odor due to ammonia in urine is felt, but with the passage of time, urea degrading bacteria rapidly decompose urea contained in urine to generate ammonia, which causes discomfort and It was unavoidable that diaper rashes could occur.

The silver-containing glass powder containing phosphoric acid as a main component used in the present invention is capable of gradually eluting phosphate ions and silver ions in the glass composition when contacted with water such as urine. Is eluted in an amount sufficient to neutralize and deodorize ammonia in urine. Therefore, in the present invention, the odor immediately after urination can be prevented by the neutralizing action of ammonia by the weakly acidic phosphate glass. Further, after a lapse of time, the elution amount of silver ions increases and the antibacterial action sterilizes the urea-decomposing bacteria, so that the generation of ammonia is suppressed, and the discomfort and the risk of diaper rash can be eliminated.

When the above-mentioned glass powder is kneaded into the super absorbent polymer of the absorbent material, the glass powder containing, for example, 1.0% by weight of Ag 2 O and having a particle size of 50 μm or less is used.
It is preferably used in a proportion of about 1 to 5 g. When the glass powder is mixed with cotton-like pulp or super absorbent polymer among the absorbent materials, the glass powder containing 1.0% by weight of Ag 2 O should have a particle size of 50 to 1000 μm and a particle size of 0.1 to 1 per diaper.
It is preferable to use it at a rate of about 5 g. When using a glass powder having a large particle size, it is desirable to use a spherical glass powder for safety reasons. Further, when the glass powder is adhered to the inner surface of the absorbent paper of the absorbent material, the glass powder containing 0.5 to 1.0% by weight of Ag 2 O should be used.
It is preferable that the thickness is less than or equal to μm, and a urethane adhesive is used at a rate of about 0.1 to 5 g per diaper. It is also possible to disperse it in a concentrated manner particularly in the part that comes into contact with urine.

(Effects of the Invention) As described above, the paper diaper of the present invention uses a weakly acidic silver-containing glass powder containing phosphoric acid as a main component, which elutes phosphate ions sufficient to neutralize and deodorize ammonia, as an absorbent material. By dispersing on the inner or outer surface, the odor immediately after urination can be prevented by the neutralizing action of ammonia by the weakly acidic phosphate glass, and after a lapse of time, the eluted silver ions sterilize the urea degrading bacteria. Generation of ammonia can be suppressed. Therefore, it is possible to almost completely eliminate the discomfort caused by ammonia and the risk of diaper rash.
