In general, the frame is welded to the upper end of the tank side wall, and the lid is attached to the flange of the upper frame. In this case, the tank side wall is an insulating material that is housed inside the tank. In order to reduce the amount of oil and to make it possible to provide heat dissipation fins at the corners as well, straight corners are formed at the ends of the two adjacent sides that are continuous with each other at obtuse angles. In some cases, it is configured to do so. Less than,
This will be described with reference to FIGS. 5 to 7. That is, in FIG. 5, 1 is a tank side wall having a substantially rectangular shape, which has chamfered straight linear corners, or corners, which are continuous with each other at obtuse angles with the ends of adjacent two sides. Such a corner portion 1a is formed into an overall octagonal shape, and a large number of heat radiation fins 2 are formed on the outer peripheral portion thereof, and a bottom plate 3 is joined to the lower end portion by welding. 4 is an upper frame welded to the upper end of the side wall 1 of the tank.
As shown in FIGS. 6 and 7, the four corners are the tank side wall 1.
The vertical plate portion 5 having a short octagonal tubular shape that is linearly formed corresponding to the four corners of the vertical plate portion 5 and the substantially rectangular shape that is welded from the upper end portion of the vertical plate portion 5 toward the outside at a substantially right angle. It is composed of the formed flange portion 6 and has an inverted L-shaped cross section as a whole. In this case, the flange portion 6 is the long side portion 5 of the vertical plate portion 5.
From the flat long side 6a corresponding to a, the short short side 6b corresponding to the short side 5b of the vertical plate 5, and the corner 6c corresponding to the corner 5c of the vertical plate 5. And each of them is joined by welding at the joint 6d. Then, a lid body (not shown) is attached to the flange portion 6 of the upper frame 4 via a gasket.

Since each of the c's is joined by welding at the joint 6d, distortion is likely to occur due to heat during welding, and there is a problem that a lot of labor is required to correct this distortion. Even if the provisional amendment is made, the flange 6
The itself is joined to the upper end portion of the vertical plate portion 5 over the entire circumference thereof by a joining portion 7
Since it is necessary to weld in the above, there is a problem that the flatness of the flange portion 6 is difficult to be obtained and the tank confidentiality cannot be maintained.

Both edges are pressed by squeeze processing or the like and then sealed by arc welding or the like to form a large number of heat dissipation fins 12 through which insulating oil flows in and out. The tank side walls 11 have straight long side portions 11 arranged to face each other.
a, 11a and the short side portions 11b, 11b, and the linear corners which are continuous with the adjacent two side portions, that is, the short side portions of the long side portion 11a and the short side portion 11b at obtuse angles, for example, 135 °, respectively. The corners 11c are chamfered corners, and have a substantially rectangular shape as an octagonal tubular shape as a whole. Reference numeral 13 is a bottom plate joined to the lower end of the tank side wall 11 by welding. 14 is an upper frame composed of a long frame 15, a short frame 16 and a corner plate 17, as shown in FIG. 2 and FIG.
This will be described below. That is, the long frame 15 is the vertical portion 1
5a and a horizontal portion 15b, which is a member having an inverted L-shaped cross section, and inclined edges 15c are formed at both ends of the vertical portion 15a so as to be cut obliquely.
As a result, the length of the lower end of the vertical portion 15a becomes smaller than that of the tank side wall 11.
It corresponds to the long side portion 11a. Short frame 16
Is composed of a member having an inverted L-shaped cross section composed of a vertical portion 16a and a horizontal portion 16b, and both ends of the horizontal portion 16b are projected from the vertical portion 16a by the width dimension of the horizontal portion 15b of the long frame 15. Then, inclined edges 16c are formed at both ends of the vertical portion 16a so as to be cut obliquely, whereby the length of the lower end of the vertical portion 16a corresponds to the short side portion 11c of the tank side wall 11. It is supposed to do.
The short frame 16 is welded to the long frame 15 so that the upper surface of the horizontal part 16b is flush with the horizontal part 15b of the long frame 15, and the corners thereof have a right angle. The corner plate 17 has a substantially triangular shape, the lower end portion 17a has a linear shape corresponding to the corner portion 11c of the tank side wall 11, and both side portions 17b, 1
7b are welded to the slanted edge portion 15c of the long frame 15 and the slanted edge portion 16c of the short frame 16 which are corners. In the upper frame 14, the lower end of the long frame 15 corresponds to the long side 11a of the tank side wall 11, the lower end of the short frame 16 corresponds to the short side 11b of the tank side wall 11, and the corner plate 17 is provided.
The lower end portion 17a of each of the above is welded to the corner portion 11c of the tank side wall 11 to be joined to the upper end portion of the tank side wall 11. As a result, the horizontal portion 15b of the long frame 15 is
And the horizontal portion 16b of the short frame 16 is the flange portion 1 of the upper frame 14.
8 is formed. Reference numeral 19 denotes a lid body that is attached to the upper surface of the flange portion 18 via a gasket 20 in a confidential manner.

Is formed only by welding the end portions of the long frame 15 and the short frame 16 having the inverted L-shaped cross section to the flange portion 6
Is longer than the conventional structure in which the long side portion 6a, the short side portion 6b and the corner portion 6c are welded to each other at the joint portion 6d and then these are welded to the vertical plate portion 5. It can be remarkably reduced, and therefore, distortion at the time of welding can be reduced, and the flatness of the flange portion 18 can be secured, whereby the airtightness between the upper frame 14 and the lid body 19 can be maintained. Even in this case, the corner plate 17 is joined to the corner of the upper frame 14 and the lower end of the corner plate 17 is connected to the corner 11.
Since it is formed linearly corresponding to c, the lower end of the upper frame 14 can be easily joined to the upper end of the tank side wall 11 by welding or the like.

The difference from the above embodiment is that instead of the vertical portions 15a and 16a of the long frame 15 and the short frame 16, slanted edges 15c and 16c are provided at both ends. By providing the vertical portions 15'a and 16'a which are not formed,
Short portions 15'c and 1 of the vertical portions 15'a and 16'a
6'c are linearly bent so as to correspond to the corners 11c of the tank side wall 11, and the edge 15d of the vertical portion 15'a and the edge 16d of the vertical portion 16'a are butt-welded by butt welding. The upper frame 14 'is joined to the upper frame 14', and this embodiment has the effect of further shortening the welding length.
