Conventionally, various weaving methods have been devised for moving the tip of the welding rod during welding with a welding torch in order to efficiently form a beautiful weld with no defects depending on the rod type, rod diameter, posture, etc. The representative examples thereof are as shown in FIGS. 8, 9 and 10.

In FIG. 8, 81 is a welding wire, 82 is a welding torch body, 83 is a center of rotation of the welding torch body 82, 84 is a swinging direction 84 around the center of rotation 83 of the welding torch body 82.

Further, in FIG. 9, 91 is a welding wire, 92 is a welding torch main body, 93 is a feeding roller, 95 is an oscillating plate, and 94 is an oscillating direction of the oscillating plate 95. The operating method is the swing plate 95.
When the welding wire 91 is swung as shown in the swinging direction 94, the welding wire 91 has a periodic bending behavior, and the bending behavior of the welding wire 91 is restrained while passing through the welding torch 92. Is bent again and the tip of the wire swings left and right.

In FIG. 10, 101 is a welding wire, 102 is a welding torch body, 103 is a welding tip hole, and 105 is a welding wire 101 on the surface.
A weaving bar 104 in which a groove for guiding the is carved in parallel with the axis is a rotating direction of the weaving bar 105. The operation method is to swing the weaving bar 105 as shown in the swinging direction 104. Due to the eccentricity difference between the welding chip hole 103 and the groove of the weaving bar 105, the tip of the welding wire 101 draws a semi-circular locus to the left and right. Shake.

The welding torch body 82 shown in FIG. 8 has a narrow width and cannot weave between the grooves. For this reason, the tip of the welding wire 81 could not be sufficiently oriented toward the groove wall surface, and the groove wall surface was insufficiently melted, so that penetration failure was likely to occur. Further, in the welding torch body 92 shown in FIG. 9, the welding wire 91 is changed by changing the swing angle of the swing plate 94.
Although it is possible to change the radius of curvature of the welding wire, it is possible to change the radius of curvature after passing the bending torch body 92 again after the bending to attach the welding wire. There is an inconvenience such that there is a time delay until the vibration of 91 passes through the welding torch body 92. For this reason, when the groove width changes suddenly, it is difficult to adjust the weaving width with good responsiveness, and the proper arc position with respect to the groove wall surface cannot be maintained, resulting in poor penetration. Furthermore, in the welding torch body 102 shown in FIG. 10, even if the groove width changes suddenly, it can be corrected immediately by adjusting the rotation amount of the weaving bar 105, but the welding tip hole 103 and the weaving bar 105 can be corrected.
Since the gap with the tip of the welding wire cannot be extremely close due to the rigidity of the welding wire, the swing width of the tip of the welding wire 101 is limited. Therefore, a sufficient swing width cannot be obtained, which causes a penetration failure.

In order to solve the above problems, the present invention provides a hollow tubular welding torch body in which a welding wire lead-out hole is provided at a position distant from the axis on an end face for leading out a welding wire, and is inserted in the welding torch body. A fitting body provided, and a welding wire guiding means formed in a position apart from the shaft center of the fitting body in parallel with the shaft center;
A consumable electrode welding torch comprising: the welding torch body and the fitting body, and means for reversing the welding torch body and the fitting body with respect to each other about an axis thereof.

Since the consumable electrode welding torch of the present invention has the above-mentioned mechanism, when weaving in a narrow groove having a narrow width and a deep groove, the welding torch main body and the fitting body are reversed to each other so that the tip of the welding wire is left and right. The swing width of the welding wire tip can be immediately changed by externally adjusting the amount of rotation between the welding torch body and the fitting body.

To explain the operation of this device, first, the welding wire 1
2 and 3, the welding torch main body 7 and the fitting body 6 are inverted from each other by the rotation of the motor 13 to be in the states of FIGS. 4 and 5, and when further rotated. As shown in FIGS. 6 and 7, the tip of the welding wire 1 is directed to the side opposite to the illustrated state of FIGS. 2 and 3. By this action, the motor 1 is changed from the state shown in FIG. 4 and FIG.
Weaving can be performed by continuously rotating the rotations of 3 forward and backward. In addition, the swing width of the tip of the welding wire 1 can be immediately changed by adjusting the rotation amount of the motor 13.

As described above in detail, in the present invention, the amount of rotation of the welding torch body and the fitting body can be changed from the outside with good responsiveness, and in addition, the axis of the welding torch body has a shaft center on the end face for leading out the welding wire. Since the welding wire lead-out hole is provided at a position distant from the welding torch body, the swing width of the tip of the welding wire can be changed without a time delay even if the groove width changes rapidly. The proper arc position with respect to the wall surface can be easily maintained, and the occurrence of defective penetration can be prevented.
