く、常時、苛酷な環境条件に曝らされるような構造物に
用いられることが多くなってきたが、この海洋構造物等
は、常時、腐食環境としてはきわめて厳しい海水、また
は海水の飛沫に曝らされる上に、波浪等の機械的な作用
も受ける為、従来の防食方法では、充分な防食効果を発
揮することの出来ないおそれが大となって来ている。

6をPC鋼棒1の端部のねじを利用して、回転させ、弾
性体5が変形するまでねじ込みねじ部の一部を含む定着
ナットは完全に密封され外からの腐食環境を遮断する。
この円筒管キヤップ6は非透水性のもので例えば亜鉛メ
ッキ、粉体塗装等の防食加工された鋼製か、プラスチッ
ク製のものが用いられる。そして、このような円筒管キ
ヤツプ6を取り付けた後、切欠部の周辺にモルタル接着
剤7を塗布し、その上に無収縮モルタル8を充填する。
斯く構成することによってPC鋼棒定着部を完全に外部
の環境から遮断することが出来る。
