(Prior art) When laying cables such as electric power cables and communication cables on the bottom of water such as the sea bottom, lake bottom, river bottom, etc., in order to prevent the cables from being damaged by bottom fishing gear or anchorage of ships. It is common to bury the cable at the bottom of the water. In this case, the laying speed differs depending on various conditions, but it is 1
Since it is about 100 to 1000 m, assuming that the length of the installation route is 20 km, the number of days required for the installation work is 20.
~ 200 days will be long. Since the seabed or the water area along the laying route is occupied during this laying work period, there is a drawback that the fishing boat and the area hinder the vessels sailing near the laying route. In this way, the installation period is 20 to 20
Since it lasts for a long time of 0 days, there is a high possibility of encountering bad weather during cable laying, and if bad weather is encountered, there is a high risk that the cable will be cut and it will be impossible to lay the cable for a long time.

The submarine cable connection does not necessarily have to be a factory-assembled connection that has the perfect flexibility to be connected at the factory. It is easy to connect, and its structure is simple and rigid (the cable connection of the land cable). Part). However, from the viewpoint of ease of exterior construction and workability of laying the connecting portion, it is desirable that the connecting portion be as flexible as possible and have a so-called factory-assembled connecting portion having an equal outer diameter. In case of OF cable during cable laying, it is effective to install the cable connection work place on the laying ship or on the cable connection dedicated ship at the highest position of the passage of the submarine cable in order to ensure the vacuuming and refueling work. Target. Furthermore, the oil adjustment inside the cable connection is done wirelessly by the submarine cable 1,
A pressure tank (not shown in the drawing) provided at each of the two ends may be opened and closed. In the case of a pressure tank such as a CV cable or a water-bottom cable that does not require vacuuming, it is not necessary to connect the water-bottom cable laid at the highest position of the passage through which the water-bottom cable passes at the time of laying, as described above.

In addition, according to the already filed invention, when the laying route length is longer than the manufacturable length, a factory joint with a special flexibility that can sufficiently withstand the bending and twisting received by the cable immediately before the step of applying the normal wiring After that, it was necessary to lengthen the cable length by fitting the garment to withstand laying tension and external damage according to the factory joint. This requires advanced technology, expensive materials and a long time,
Even after that, special attention was needed until the completion of the installation in the factory joint. In the present application, for example, it is possible to apply a joint prepared as much as possible in a prefabricated type just like the connection portion of a land cable immediately before installation, and thereafter, it is possible to complete the installation with almost no bending or twisting. It also has very favorable effects on shortening the construction period, ease of construction, and reliability.
