係るツバキ種子脱脂物の抽出物を得る。この抽出物はわ
ずかに特異臭のする淡黄色の粉末であり、水、含水エタ
ノール、含水イソプロピルアルコールなどに易溶であ
り、抽出物の1wt%水溶液のpH値は4.0〜5.0を示す。

ることは明らかである。また、特に実施例5,6のヘア
ートリートメントクリームは頭髪及び頭皮に塗布して、
適度な保湿性を付与して頭髪をしなやかにすると共にド
ライスカルプに基因するフケを予防する効果を有する。
