方に配され車両用シートのシートクッションを支持する
アッパーフレームと、前記ロアフレームに対しアッパー
フレームを上下動可能に支持するリンク機構と、前記ア
ッパーフレームに生じる荷重を支える空気ばねと、前記
空気ばねに給気源から給気させたり該空気ばね内部から
排気したりする常閉式の給・排気弁を持つ弁体と、前記
シートクッションの上下動に連動して前記弁体の給・排
気弁を選択的に開閉する弁開閉機構とを備え、この弁開
閉機構による弁体の給・排気弁の開閉により空気ばね内
圧を制御することにより該シートクッションを設定基準
高さに復帰せしめる車両用シートのエアサスペンション
装置において、 前記シートクッションの上下動に伴い相対変位を生じる
2部材の一方に固定的に支軸を設け、この支軸を相互間
に挟み込む状態に前記弁体と弁開閉機構とを該支軸の中
心を横切る中立軸線上に対向配置すると共に、その弁体
と弁開閉機構とには支軸の中心から中立軸線と直行する
方向に変移した2箇所位置にそれぞれ回動支点を設け、
且つその弁体と弁開閉機構との互いの反対向側部に両端
を掛止し該弁体と弁開閉機構とを前記中立軸線上に保持
する引っ張りばねを設け、更にその弁開閉機構を前記シ
ートクッションの上下動に伴い相対変位を生じる2部材
の他方の部材と連動して回動させる連結部材を設けると
共に、弁体の回動を所定範囲内に規制するストッパを設
け、 シートクッションの上下動に伴い連結部材を介して弁開
閉機構が中立軸線上から引っ張りばねのデットポイント
以上に回動すると、その弁開閉機構に対し弁体が引っ張
りばねにより瞬時に引き寄せ回動せしめられて、その弁
体の給・排気弁のいずれかが開き、その開弁状態から弁
開閉機構の復帰回動時には弁体がストッパにより保持さ
れて弁体が徐々に閉弁し、その弁開閉機構が初期の中立
軸線上に回動復帰すると、弁体が全閉状態となると共に
引っ張りばねにより初期の中立軸線上に回動復帰する構
成としたことを特徴とする車両用シートのエアサスペン
