A floor panel type casing equipped with an air inlet, an outlet, and an outlet, a thermoelectric conversion element having a Peltier effect, and heat-radiating fins and DC power supplies for the thermoelectric conversion element, which are arranged on the upper and lower surfaces of the element. By incorporating an air supply fan for the thermoelectric conversion element in the above, it is possible to easily switch between cooling and heating simply by reversing the plus and minus of the direct current sent to the thermoelectric conversion element, and each individual has his or her own preference. Sometimes the work space can be cooled or heated.

The air discharged from the casing outlet of the air conditioner constitutes an air conditioner that flows through the space under the adjacent floor panel. By putting the air conditioner inside the floor panel, the work space is air-conditioned. The space is not narrowed by the device, and the underfloor space for the exhaust air is smaller than that in the case where a cool / hot air duct or a chamber is provided under the floor.
