は、撮影時の温度環境等によって変動する。従って、特
に、被写界深度の浅い超望遠レンズ等微妙な焦点調節を
強いられる場合には、この回転トルクを調整することが
必要となる。

微細な調整ができず、また非常に不安定な状態似にある
ためせっかく調整を行っても、ロック手段を不用意にさ
わったり使用中の振動等で調整が崩れてしまう欠点があ
る。

(発明の構成) この発明に係わるレンズの焦点調節装置は、固定鏡筒の

行うものにおいて、前記焦点調節操作部材に、前記レン
ズ系の光軸と直交するように設けられた鍔部と、前記固
定鏡筒と相対回動可能に螺合して、前記レンズ系の光軸
方向に移動可能で、前記鍔部と対峙する押圧部を有する
押圧部を有する回転トルク調整部材と、この回転トルク
調整部材の押圧部と前記鍔部との間に介設された弾性部
材とを有し、前記回転トルク調整部材を前記固定鏡筒に
対して相対回転して、前記光軸方向に移動させて、前記
弾性部材の弾性変形を調整し、それにより前記焦点調節
操作部材の回転トルク調整を行うようにしたことを特徴
としている。

細かいピッチの螺子状態とすることにより、微細な回転
トルク調整を正確に行い得ると共に、回転トルク調整部
材を固定する固定手段を固定鏡筒又は回転トルク調整部
材のいずれか一方に埋設することにより、固定手段に不
用意に触れることがなくなるため、より確実に調整位置
を維持することができる。
