In the present age, which is aimed at creating a high-level social environment, it is desired to adopt a specially devised transportation system or building structure so that wheelchair users can act relatively freely. In particular, recently, with the recognition that the escalator is an indispensable means of transportation inside the building, it is expected that an escalator that is inevitably easy for wheelchair users to use will emerge. Also, at a department store, it was not possible to ride on the escalator with the shopping cart still on board. This is because wheelchairs and shopping carts have wheels, which generally do not allow a stable ride on a stepped tread. In the past, there are some things that are generally called electric roads that do not have steps on the tread, but since the entire tread is inclined like a slide, the drawback that the wheelchair is not stable and the entire equipment is long Therefore, it has a drawback that the space efficiency becomes poor.

この欠点を改善するため、先に本発明者等によって車椅

In order to remedy this drawback, an escalator for putting a wheelchair on was previously proposed by the present inventors.

As shown in FIG. 1, the structure is such that a main body portion 1 that supports the entire escalator, a balustrade portion 2 that stands upright on both sides of a passenger,
A handrail 2a that runs on the upper end of the balustrade 2 and a step 3 that rotates at the same speed as the handrail 2a are generally provided. The step 3 is composed of a horizontal step plate 3a and a riser 3b. Further, in order for the step 3 to travel, the front roller 3

Although the escalator having the above structure is well known, as a means for carrying a wheelchair on this type of escalator, the second
The configurations shown in Figures and 3 have been proposed. This structure has a row of steps 3, a part of the steps 4a, and a closing plate integrated therewith.
One or more steps 4 having a mechanism 4b for raising 4d are connected. In addition, this schematic structure is provided with a mechanism for raising the height h when the central portion 4c of the step board 4a comes into contact with the upper surface of the guide rail 5. Specifically, the guide rail 5 below the step 4 is It is arranged only in the portion where the central portion 4c of the tread plate is desired to be raised, and when the roller 6 of this guide rail 5 comes into contact, the central portion 4c is raised via the support member 7. The height h is the same as that of the adjacent front step 3 so that the wheelchair K approaches a horizontal state. As a result, the space in which the wheelchair K rides is about the length of the step 3. The length of the step 4 is added to 400 mm, and a space of about 800 mm is substantially secured.

However, as described above, in the case where the space of about 800 mm is secured, the wheelchair K is only small in size, and it has been found that the large wheelchair requires about 1000 to 1200 mm. As described above, it is confirmed that the step 4 and the step 3 adjacent to the step 4 and the step 3 further above the step 3 are reached. Therefore, when a large wheelchair K is placed,
The rear wheel Ka rides on the central portion 4c of the tread 4a, and the lower end of the footrest Kb touches the tread at two steps above, and the important front wheel Kc is only a gap g from the tread of the one above. It floats. As a result, the armrest Kd and the seat Ke of the wheelchair are tilted, the center of gravity of the wheelchair moves rearward, and the wheelchair Kd slides down in the direction of arrow A. In order to prevent such a slip in the direction of the arrow A, the passenger M must press down desperately, and in the worst case, a fall accident of the wheelchair K and the passenger M will be induced.

In order to achieve the above object, the present invention relates to an escalator having a plurality of steps arranged and rotated in an endless manner, wherein at least one step of the plurality of steps has one step plate above the step plate. A lift mechanism for raising the wheelchair to a higher position is provided, and when the rear wheel of the wheelchair is placed on the footboard and the rear wheel of the wheelchair is placed on two steps above the footrest of the wheelchair, the wheelchair is almost The height was set to be horizontal.

With the raised position of the tread plate above the tread plate of the one step above, the rear wheel of the wheelchair is placed on the tread plate, and the two steps above the tread plate of the wheelchair so that the wheelchair is almost horizontal. Therefore, stable transportation can be performed.

An embodiment of the present invention will be described below with reference to FIGS. 4 and 5. In this embodiment, the amount of increase by the height ha is added to the ascending height h of the ascending mechanism 4b of the step 4 described with reference to FIG. The wheelchair K is raised higher than the height of the treads, thereby keeping the wheelchair K horizontal, while the central portion 4c of the treads 4a and the treads of the steps 3 above the treads 4a include the rear wheel of the wheelchair K and the footrest Kb.
The characteristic feature is that a non-slip member B made of synthetic resin, which has a property that the rear wheel and the footrest Kb are hard to slip, is installed at a position corresponding to. In this case, the specific dimension of the ascending sentence ha is determined from the standard of the wheelchair K, and is calculated from the normal height of the steps 3 of the escalator and the dimension relationship of the wheelchair K. The armrest Kd of the wheelchair K, the seat Ke Is to be almost horizontal.

On the other hand, if the color tone of the non-slip member B is different from the color of a normal step and is used for positioning the wheelchair K in the front-rear direction and in the left-right direction, its utility value is further enhanced.

With this configuration, according to the present embodiment, 1. The wheelchair K (large size) can ride horizontally, and in addition to the slip prevention in the direction of arrow A as described in FIG. It is possible to reduce the burden on the member M and increase the stability.
